Due to its vastness, there are well paved roads for buggies when you don’t feel like walking all the way to the restaurant or to your favorite pool or the activity center. The staff are very helpful and kind. If you get a beach front villa, the bottom floor has a private pool. These villas also have at least 3 bedrooms so perfect for bigger groups or families. It comes equipped with a kitchen and a living room so you can even cook. There are also a choice of restaurants with different cuisines so you are never bored with your options. I would highly recommend this resort if you are ever in Nha Trang.

Grand Tourane is beautifully located by the beach and in the center of Nha Trang, 950m away from Agarwood Tower, 2.7 km away from Bãi Rêu Nha Trang, 2.8 km away from Dam Market, 3.5 km away from Truong Son Craft Village and 4.1 km away from Ponagar Temple. Those are just few of the tourist attractions near the hotel. We booked a 'Senior Deluxe Sea View' room for 2 nights with free breakfast, for 66 USD, a price for 2 adults. Our room was equipped with comfortable twin bed, clean bathroom, wifi and more. Aside from its Panoramic ocean view, Grand Tourane Hotel features a rooftop swimming pool and bar where you can see the stunning view of the beach, the city and the mountains, elegant restaurants with Vietnamese and Western cuisine, free private parking, sauna and fitness center. Lovely resort close to the city

#resort #vietnam #nhatrang #hotel There are lots of resorts in Cam Ranh, near the airport, but if you’re looking for a place just as luxurious but closer to the city so that you can still explore Nha Trang, Amiana Resort is the place to stay! The resort overlooks the bay on the north side of Nha Trang and has a private beach. Their bungalows are elegant, clean and nice, with an assortment of different pillows you can choose from and a beautiful outdoor shower/tub and spacious bathroom. They have 3 pools, one of them a saltwater pool with plenty of beach chairs around and also a volleyball net. My favorite part was the breakfast buffet. The wide array of cuisines and dishes were all very delicious and their huge variety of freshly squeezed juices just made it exponentially better. It is one of my favorite resorts in Nha Trang due to their high quality service, incredible breakfast and accessibility to the city.

Lunar New Year Festivities in Vietnam!

In Vietnam, Lunar New Year is called Tet and it is a huge holiday! The holiday is almost two weeks I believe. I got the incredible chance to watch the performances they put on in Nha Trang square to celebrate the New Year. The group performed martial arts, the dragon dance and the lion dance (on the ground and on the stilts)! I had never seen the lion dance on stilts in person, only in videos, so I was really excited. I waited for about an hour before the performance started just to get a good view. I was in awe as they did some crazy acts like climbing up the pole and jumping on these stilts as a pair. They did fall off a few times, but that didn’t dampen the audience’s spirit as we all knew we wouldn’t even be able to land even one jump with this costume over our heads and in unison with another person at that. It was still incredible, and I really enjoyed it. There are also lots of colorful flowers and festive decorations throughout town with which people takes lots of photos, so it’s very lively and bustling during this time. Nha Trang - picturesque coastal city

One of the most favorite tourism spots in #vietnam. The coastal city #nhatrang with the beach itself is free and open to the public. It is a beach with a very beautiful view. Also the water is clear and warm, ideal to cool off in as it get quite hot on the beach. i think it is always fun to be with the local friends if you just want to visit the place , not just cultures are connected to each other but the beautiful of the environment as well. Love the place and fruit, vegetables, seafoods there. It’s all cheap with that qualifies. Lower point, For adventurous one, this place run out of coral reefs, so don’t expect much for diving tours. Snorkeling is quite better.

Getting There - fly to #nhatrang and rent a bike/car to get there by yourself or easily book transport with resort. Attractions - the most peaceful beach in VietNam. you even can watch the plankton at the end of summer nights if the luck on your side. There’s also have 3 small route around the island for trekking but be careful with snakes. so wild so young the island. The coral restoration is perfect so you could see seahorses, various fishes and colorful coral reefs here. Must do snorkeling day tour. Hotels - only 1 resort #whaleisland on island. No ppl live here so you could enjoy the beach sound as it best. Food & Restaurants - resort will offer all - in and actually it’s quite delicious . Minus point that the island is quite far from airport so transport fee higher than expected.

New cafe in Nha Trang!

This cafe is called Ha Vu, on the first floor of a new apartment building. it’s in the city center, very close to the Vincom Plaza on Le Than Ton street. They have the salt coffee which you don’t find too commonly in Nha Trang. it was yummy but a bit sweet like most vietnamese coffee. the interior is nice and modern but a bit small. not too many places to sit. their croissants were good too. they provide a chocolate dip for the croissants which is a nice touch. there was also a really cute and gentle cat there. not sure if it’s always there, but I was able to hold it, pet it and play with it. overall, it was a good experience. i think i will return if i feel like another salt coffee. #vietnam #cafe #nhatrang

So many swimming pools!

This is Alma Resort in Cam Ranh, Vietnam. Cam Ranh is where the Nha Trang or Cam Ranh airport is. It has nice resorts all along the beach. Alma Resort is one of the really big ones, with private villas near the beach and two condo/hotel buildings near the entrance. The private pool villas are big with 3 rooms, so it’s nice for families. The villas have two separate floors, so if you stay on the bottom floor, you have access to the private pool. You can also see the beach from your windows. The resort grounds are huge and the shared/public pools are all lined up in the center, starting from the top (near the entrance) down to the beach (where the villas are located). I think there are around 14 pools in total. The main restaurants are located near the entrance, so may feel a bit far but they have buggies which you can take. The food mostly was delicious. Co Tien / Angel Mountain Hike

This is a small mountain on the north side of Nha Trang. It's the most popular mountain that people hike in Nha Trang. It's probably the closest one to town. Quite often, people go here to camp overnight. The hike itself isn't too difficult if you only go to the first or second peak. The one after that is very steep and mostly made of rocks so, without proper shoes, it may be quite difficult. I highly suggest you go early morning as there are no big trees or any shade you can find refuge under when the sun is beating down on you. Mostly it's dirt and rocks. Make sure you bring plenty of water because it gets hot. If you take your time, it'll take you around 2-3 hours to go up and come back down, including time to rest and stop to take photos. When you make it up there, the view is amazing. You can see the beautiful, turquoise sea and most of Nha Trang, although the only downside is all the construction that ruins the view in some parts. Diving in Nha Trang

Went scuba diving with Sailing Club Divers in Nha Trang, and loved it! They are fun and professional, and the service is great. Diving conditions were great at the time I went! Best hotel breakfast I have ever had

My stay at Intercontinental Nha Trang came with breakfast. The spread is very good. I am really impressed with all the baked goods (sticky buns, croissants, etc). They even have a “live” honey station. #nhatrang #vietnam

Nha Trang Cathedral is a colonial-era building built in the 1930s. It is the main temple of the local Catholic community. The Cathedral in Nha Trang is one of the iconic sights of the city. To be honest, imagining Vietnam, I did not expect to see it in this perspective. Southeast Asia has always been associated with Buddhist and Hindu temples. However, when I managed to get to Nha Trang for the first time, the Cathedral was the first place where I went. Hon Chong Promontory - Nha Trang, Vietnam

Located about 4 kilometers northeast from Nha Trang city center, right at the foot of La San Hill, Hon Chong Promontory boasts a large area of rocks with a variety of unique shapes lying on the shore. Some call this place “Rock Garden”. I didn’t expect much from this place but surprisingly I really liked being at Hon Chong Promontory. There you can take really unique pictures! There are several cafes open for those who want to have a lunch or dinner in that area. Best pool villa in Nha Trang Vietnam!!!!!

I have traveled around the many famous places in Southeast Asia. I was lucky enough to visit Nha Trang in Vietnam in the midst of Covid pandemic (as Vietnam was quite safe at that time) and had stayed 2 different hotels there. Radisson Blu Resort was beyond my expectations as the private villa was perfect for a family of 3 with a private pool looking ahead to the Ocean. The room was modern and stylish with separate bedroom kitchen and a living room. You cannot cook but had a dining table with a fridge which was perfect. The bathroom had a large shower booth with two separate showers that had a door to the outdoor pool which was convenient to head right in after a splash in the private pool. There was aother outdoor shower too. Modern and spacious with a perfect layout for the customers comfort. The beach was nice too but was very windy to go in. The gym was outstanding with the view to the beach. Spa was top notch with hot sauna dry sauna with welcome tea. Despite the pandemic the manager kindly opened the spa and the gym for us. Breakfast was not a buffet because of the lack of customers but was aallowe to order any from the menu. Every plate was decorated nicely and tasted amazing. Trip to Nha Trang

First trip of 2024 with my hubby! Nha Trang gave us a very surprise visit! From airport to city take 45mins, traffic smooth and along the way to city u can see a very beautiful scenery at your right, it’s South China Sea! People in Nha Trang are very friendly and nice, but most of them don’t speak English, have to use google translate to communicate with them. You can use Grab car in Nha Trang, prepared some cash with you because most of the restaurant only receives cash. March weather is warm but windy at the evening. Unveiling Nha Trang: A Coastal Gem🏖️

My journey to Nha Trang was a blend of sun-kissed beaches & vibrant nightlife. From lounging at the serene Bai Dai Beach to exploring the ancient Po Nagar Cham towers, every moment was picture-perfect. The highlight was snorkeling at Hon Mun Island, where the underwater world left me in awe. Don't miss out on the sizzling street food scene! It’s my third time in the city and and at this point I have stayed at the various resorts, so here are my recommendations: if you’re looking for a hotel in the city center while located 3 min from the public beach do to December Hotel, if you’re looking for a more remote location with your own private beach look at the hotels in Cam Ranh, however it’s quite remote from the city — a 40 min drive, the best one in my opinion is Radisson Blue or Wyndham Cam Ranh Resort. In terms of local food I recommend trying Nem Nha Trang, a special spring roll with the local sauce and also try Chau Ca it’s the local rice porridge with fish. Super yummy! Great location, takes 5 mins to the beach, lots of restaurants and convenient stores nearby, friendly and supportive staffs, good prices in center area. I booked one night but extended into 2 nights, will come back next time and hopefully everything will be the same or even better in the near future. Coffee Shops Galore in Nha Trang

I have been staying in the Northeastern part of Nha Trang, a smaller city along the Vietnamese coastline, about 6 hours by bus from Ho Chi Minh City. It is a quieter area with Hon Chong Beach being the main atraction. My favorite way to explore new places is walking. Why walking? Because this is the number one way to discover and stumble upon hidden gems in the form of small, eccentric, beautifully decorated shops - for example, coffee shops. ☕️ And this neighborhood in Nha Trang has an abundance of these very different, uniquely decorated shops - often called "Coffee, Tea & More!" or "Coffee, Food & More!". This got me extremely curious - What is the " More"? I roughly counted in excess of 20 coffee shops just in a 2-block radius.
