2025 The North Bund Area Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in June)

The first two days, we walked around taking pictures 📸 and playing in Shanghai. The weather was cold ❄️ and the wind was strong 🌬️. It's a city that feels very Hi-tech and Cashless society. In the morning, we accidentally met 2 robots 🤖 walking around. Wow, it's like in the movies. Today, we traveled out of the city 🧳 to the Valley of Angels 😇 Wangxian Valley ⛰️✨, an ancient village that is a 4A tourist attraction in China 🇨🇳 Traveling in China is quite convenient... 🛤️ 🪭Early in the morning🌞 We left the JI hotel near The Bund and took the Metro for about 40 minutes. 🪭 To get on the Hi-speed train, you can book through Trip.com. It's very convenient 🚅 at Shanghai Hongqiao Station and sit for about 3 hours. 💺 Plus, we went one station later. Add another 1 hour! 🥹 The staff are very cute 👮🏻 Everyone is very helpful. Very impressive ❤️ 🪭When we arrived at Shangrao Station, we called Didi 🚖 and rode for another 1 hour to check in at Xiansu Hotel 🏨, which is located in the Valley of Angels. We arrived at the hotel at around 4 pm. 🌤️ ⛰️✨ We packed up our stuff at the hotel and went out to find something to eat 🍢 and took some pictures. The light was beautiful 📸 and there were a lot of people. ☀️Early in the morning, we went out to take pictures. It was great! No people. So cool. We went back to Shanghai. Good meat, good seafood, peeled shrimp, and abalone. I ate until I was tired. My favorite is Haagendazs ice cream. I recommend taking a didi to a branch that is not a tourist attraction. You can go in right away, no queues. 🥢 Hongchun Chuanchuanxiang RedLips, a dry-fried hot pot restaurant. There are many branches. The sauce they stir-fry is super delicious. Choose your favorites and put them on a tray 🐮🐷🐟🦐🥬 Then weigh them by weight. It's so delicious that I'll eat it again. Thank you, Nong Nut's page. 💚 Feidachu Cayenne Pepper Chaorou, Chef Fei's restaurant. Every menu is delicious, Chef. The pork stir-fried with bell peppers is the best. The beef stir-fried with chili and garlic is also delicious. The whole roasted chicken is also delicious. The chicken is juicy, crispy skin, and fragrant with spices. The stir-fried vegetables are still delicious. The seaweed soup is good. The first time I went, I missed it. They closed the queue. I set a goal for tomorrow. I have to eat it. I went to wait in line at 10 am. The mall opened. I got the second queue. There were people before me. 😆 Actually, there are many branches. I recommend going to areas that are not tourist attractions. 🥨 BUTTERFUL & CREAMOROUS Butter and Bread, a chic shop that is a favorite of Thais. There are so many pastries. At first, I saw that it looked big. It didn't look delicious. It must not be butter or milk. I asked to check with Phi Ta again whether it was worth it.. It should be. So, let's go. What are you waiting for? Oh, it's really delicious. Mille-feuille is enough to fill you up with just one piece. LOL 🥯 New York Bagelous Museum is not on my list of places to eat. Most bagels are dense, so I'm not really into them. They're not very milky or buttery. LOL But when I walked past and smelled it and there were a lot of people, I decided to give it a try. If I couldn't decide, I'd just go with the one that says "Top 1", something like wagyu beef. It's sooo delicious. Oh my gosh, it's so delicious. While I'm typing this, I'm swallowing my saliva and wanting to eat it again. 🥟 Yang's Dumpling, the pork xiao long bao is sooo delicious. The dough is soft on top and crispy on the bottom. The soup is so delicious. There are many branches. I've eaten there many times. Whenever there's a long line, Yang will always finish it. LOL 🧀 Holiland, a popular bakery shop for Thai souvenirs. Their cheesecakes are great. The packaging is beautiful and delicious. It's perfect for buying on your way back. As for me, I went on the wrong day and returned 2 days later. I ate by myself. I have to thank Admin Oh for the advice. 💸 Huaihai This is my favorite shopping area. It's really a disaster. 5555 There are many shops to walk around: Songmont, HUMAN MADE, TAMBURINS, Gentle Monster, Niko and.. 📱 My favorite apps that I use are Alipay, Amap, Dianping, TrueMoney 🩷 Cashless, which is sincere and I don't use a single yuan in cash. I love Mala. Luckily, I only found clean restrooms. I understand that they are trying to relieve the pain by having many places that have automatic systems. Find a cozy spot by the path, sit back, and savor the enchanting moments of spring. Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Jin Hui Hotel is said to be a newly opened hotel, and it shows. The lobby is spacious and bright, with plenty of lounge areas for guests to relax. The sofas and tables are quite comfortable—great for people who need to work. This time, I attended a friend's baby's 100-day banquet in the banquet hall on the 30th floor. The view was amazing, and the environment was lovely. The food was quite good too—dishes like celtuce and duck tongue were flavorful, and the main courses, including beef and fish, were very tender and fresh. A popular corner. You have to queue up a bit to take pictures, but the pictures are worth it. You can take a leisurely stroll from the Bund side. There is a cafe here and a photo spot on the waterfront. I recommend coming in the evening and waiting for the buildings on the opposite side to turn on the lights to get a different feel. There aren't many people on this side. After taking pictures, you can walk back to Nanjing Lu to find something to eat for dinner. You'll definitely get a lot of beautiful pictures to take back. 💖#travelchina

Shanghai North Bund is less crowded, offering a great view of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Lujiazui skyline across the river. It's a pleasant place for a walk and taking photos. You can locate the North Bund Riverside Green Space, which is a large promenade with restaurants and the Magic City Matrix. Once you enter the North Bund Riverside Green Space, you can start looking for photo spots while walking. Photo Spots: 1. Rainbow Bridge: After crossing the bridge, you can take photos of the giant egg-shaped building and the skyscrapers across the river (Photo 3). 2. Under the bridge, you will see a silver giant egg, which is a restaurant. Taking photos from behind the egg with the Oriental Pearl Tower in the background is also a great spot (Photo 4). 3. Moving forward, you will see the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Lujiazui skyline. The promenade here is also a good place for photos. 4. Walking towards the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, there is a slope coming out of a parking lot, which is another photo spot. Taking photos from the bottom of the slope upwards, you can capture the massive Oriental Pearl Tower (Main Photo). Highly recommended to visit here. The fewer crowds make it relatively comfortable. You can also choose a restaurant to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful scenery. If time permits, it is also highly recommended to stay overnight here.
