From the hotel terrace, you can enjoy views of the Milan city. There is also no need to worry about snacks and drinks as they have their own in house mini convenience store. Our family visit was on May , the check in was fast and the room was ready but there was a problem in the reservation that i made on booking for bed and breakfast but they said it is only for bed and I have to pay extra charge for the breakfast and I have to do so for my kid , the room is renovated and large with nice large bed and large toilet , the breakfast was perfect having many varieties many fresh juices and bakery it was for 15 euro per adult and free for my kid the restaurant is wide and the service is excellent, the hotel lobby is large with accessibility for wheelchair and strollers and having two large elevators for your rooms , the location is perfect just close to piazza republica and its metro station and few steps from Corso Buenos Aires a nice shopping street , the hotel is just three metro station from the duomo and one metro station from the central station, just two problems we faced the first was the WiFi in the rooms is poor and I told the reception and the a/c was only working on hot and the weather in May was hot and I asked the receptionist he told it is set for the whole hotel at warm and he can’t change and I can open the window and that what I Did but it was a surprise for me that a four stars hotel at Milan I have to open the window !!!!! The Mandarin Oriental Milan may top that list of hotels in customer service. From the check in to the concierge to the restaurant, the hotel staff made you feel special and delivered exceptional service. We had an issue with the room, and not only did the staff provide options, in the end, they upgraded us to another room with ease. The concierge was extremely helpful with good restaurant recommendations, securing museum tickets, and options for site-seeing. The staff at the bar and restaurant were efficient without making you feel at all rushed. All in all, it is clear that the management cares about service and the clientele and has made service a top priority. This is my fourth locational visit with Mandarin Oriental having stayed at the properties in Beijing, New York, San Francisco, and Miami.
