When the wind blows, the sea of flowers flows like silk, with the Umbrian mountains in the distance as the backdrop. Wherever you stop the car, the view in your lens is like an oil painting. This place lacks the refined polish of Tuscany but hides the wildest romance: the scent of earth mixed with flowers, bees buzzing among the blossoms, and occasionally shepherds herding sheep past the flower sea, the sound of bells fading and approaching. Standing high and looking down, the color blocks seem casually brushed onto the earth by God—intense yet harmonious, even your breath slows down. Last year, due to little rain, the flowers bloomed sparsely, which was a regret. This year, with anticipation, I want to step into this sea of flowers in the best season—after all, if you can only attend one flower sea rendezvous in summer, Castelluccio is definitely worth it.

It's practically impossible to visit Rome and not see the Trevi Fountain—all roads lead to it sooner or later😍. And that's exactly what happened to me. I had planned to visit the fountain on the third day of my trip, but as I was just strolling through the city center, the very first place I stumbled upon was Trevi. I couldn't just walk by. I stood there staring at it, completely spellbound, as if all the photos I'd seen had suddenly come to life right before my eyes. The majestic Baroque sculpture of the sea god Oceanus and the wild sea horses drew me in like a magnet. I couldn't take my eyes off it; every single detail blew me away with its sheer grandeur🥰. I was so mesmerized that I didn't even notice the carabiniere blowing his whistle at me. He’d been trying to get my attention for a solid five minutes to let me know that sitting on the fountain's ledge comes with a €500 fine🫣. #travelgram I recently came across the equestrian statue of Vittorio Emanuele II in Perugia, Umbria, and it’s pretty impressive! Unveiled in 1898, it shows the king on horseback, symbolizing the unification of Italy. The bronze details are stunning, and it gives off this strong vibe. It’s a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, making it a perfect place to soak up the history and culture of the area.

#springblossom Beautiful park, arrived with an almost total flowering, 75 species present one more beautiful than the other. After a short explanation you can start the collection. Friendly staff interested in their work. Giretto short enough for the collection of tulips, but then you can stop at the bar or at the tables present and take pictures with the various works. Really nice experience especially for families or even as a couple. End with a large parking lot and close to the park, on the ground. At the exit a basket of flowers is prepared by the employees who have also given us some advice for the maintenance of the flowers collected. 🌷
