🌍 [Uyuni Salt Flats & Bolivia Train Travel Review] Mirror of the Sky and Crossing the Andes
🚆 To Uyuni by Expreso del Sur (Bolivian National Railways)
To get from La Paz, Bolivia to the Uyuni Salt Flats train, first take a bus to Oruro, where the train station is located. From there, board the "Expreso del Sur". This train runs several times a week and is a comfortable and cost-effective local means of transportation. As you can see from the photo, the exterior is classic, but the interior is relatively clean, and we were given a welcome pack of sweets.
🚉 The atmosphere at the station and inside the train is also full of local feel, and the leisurely flow of time that you can't experience on other trips is attractive. From the train window, you can see the majestic scenery of the Andes and flocks of flamingos, and it felt like you were in a documentary.

🧂 Uyuni Salt Flats: The world's largest mirror world
The highlight of the Uyuni Salt Flats is undoubtedly the "spectacular mirror view". Especially during the rainy season (January to March), the water is filled with water and the mirror reflection is perfect. In the photos taken by Alvin, the blue sky, starry sky, and sunset are reflected on the lake surface, creating a landscape that looks like CG.
•🚙 The tour is driven by a Land Cruiser. It feels like driving on water.
•🌌 The night tour is a starry sky so bright that you can see the Milky Way. The stars are reflected on the salt lake, making it difficult to tell which sky is up or down.
•📸 The guide also did some trick photos, and we were able to take photos of dinosaurs chasing us and miniature-style photos!

•The signal is weak in Uyuni, so it's a good idea to download an offline map or translation app in advance.
