The Khone Phapheng Falls are 21 meters (69 ft) high and flow 9.7 kilometers (6.0 mi). The water falls at a rate of about 11,000 cubic meters (390,000 cubic feet) per second, although the highest recorded volume is over 49,000 cubic meters (1,700,000 cubic feet) per second.
Khon Phapheng Falls, nicknamed the "Niagara of Asia", is located in Champasak Province, Laos, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Pakse. It is one of the most famous and beautiful tourist attractions in Laos.[1]
