I'd never had grilled shellfish before and didn't think it would be good. But since eating here, I'm hooked! Their grilled shellfish and octopus tentacles are incredibly fresh and sweet—so delicious! Winter and grilled meat go perfectly together. They put a lot of effort into the meat presentation. The meat is so fresh; it's fragrant even without any sauce after grilling. I got to try the chocolate tomahawk steak 🥩—so satisfying! Tender and juicy! Christmas is coming soon, and the Christmas atmosphere here is really strong. Let me share my itinerary! ✌🏻 Yanbian is about to enter its peak tourist season! I'll provide some suggestions! ✨Day 1 In the morning, I took a taxi from Changbai Mountain to Yanji, which only took 2 hours! First, I went straight to the China Korean Ethnic Folk Park. In the afternoon, I took some photos 📷, but the sunlight wasn't very good around 3 pm! I recommend going earlier! In the evening, after returning my clothes, I went to the famous "Instagrammable" wall for barbecue. Lettuce/perilla leaves + barbecue + barbecue sauce + garlic slices + mixed scallions + kimchi 🥬, Who invented this combination?! Multiple textures exploded in my mouth, so satisfying! The shopping area in front of Yanbian University in Yanji is crowded with people during dinner time. Yanbian Naengmyeon is different from the Pyongyang-style and Hamheung-style Naengmyeon eaten in Korea. It is sweet and sour, has slightly thick noodles, and contains apple-like fruits. There are Korean foods everywhere, so it is good to visit them on a food tour. If you have a chance to travel to Baekdu Mountain, it would be good to pass by Yanbian In or Out. Yanbian West Market is a permanent market that sells various daily necessities including salted seafood, vegetables, and side dishes, and it feels similar to a Vietnamese market. Yanbian Floating Market is only open until 9 AM, but it sells various foods.

About 30~40 minutes by car from downtown Yanji, **Biamsang (琵岩山)** in Longjing is a complex theme space with not only quiet walks and hot springs, but also amusement facilities. It is a place where you can ride a mountain, play, and rest, so I recommend it as a day course! 📍Location & Transportation Biamsang Town, Longjing City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, China It takes about 40 minutes by Didi Taxi from Yanji Station. Public transportation is inconvenient, so I recommend traveling by car. The entrance fee varies slightly depending on the season, so you need to check on site. ✨How to enjoy Biamsan The walking course is easy even for beginners. The view from 'Ilsongjeong (一松亭)' near the peak is quite refreshing and nice. There is also a hot spring village nearby, so it is good to relieve fatigue from the day in the outdoor hot spring. You should bring your swimsuit in advance, and the atmosphere is really good when the weather is nice. 🎡There are quite a variety of play activities! There are sky swings, glass bridges, and swing bridges, so it is a size that both children and adults can enjoy lightly. There are cases where it is not included in the admission fee, so you should check on site. 🍯Summary of tips -If you arrive around 10 am and go for a walk → rides → hot springs, you will have a fulfilling day. -The snowy scenery in winter and the autumn foliage in fall are really pretty. -It is much more convenient to bring hiking boots, a swimsuit, snacks, and cash! From Yanji, I took a day tour van to the Duman River and went around the Duman Riverside Park to see the Duman River bordering North Korea. It was shallow and narrow. From Duman River Park, I took a van to Yongjeong and there was the birthplace of poet Yun Dong-ju and Myeongdong School, which was established in the early 20th century to instill the spirit of anti-Japanese struggle in students at the Yongjeong Independence Base in North Gando and raise them to be independent patriots.
