I was allowed to check in early (11.30am). This place is huge! It feels like i'm staying in a national park. The room is very spacious, clean, very nicely decorated with water, toiletries etc. I'm very happy with the room and now keen to explore the grounds before heading out to the national park on the scooter. The grounds are well maintained in most areas but could be improved slightly in others. Nice to walk around but for cycling, the paths are so uneven and inconsistent, it's not a particularly comfortable ride. They also have some kayaks available. There is no road noise but if you have neighbours, the walls are thin so you will hear talking and scraping chairs occasionally. There is also a constant vibrating sound coming from across the river that reverberates throughout the parts which should be relaxing - some kind of large water pump, generator or farming equipment.
I went to Erawan and arrived back at around 8pm, the restaurant takes last orders around 9 but they were serving food and drinks outside with a variety of food, from steak to pad thai, papaya salad, noodles, grilled chicken at different stations. With the outdoor seating area lit up and music playing, it is a super chill but lovely atmosphere.
Breakfast: A little disappointing. It's more local (processed sausage and ham, more rice, vegetables and noodles etc). I tried the rice, vegetables, sweet and sour chicken - it was all cold. The egg was slightly undercooked so I just had fruit. It was a busy breakfast area and lots of people seemed to be enjoying the breakfast. It was much better on the second day!
After a day of exploring around and up to Hellfire Pass, I arrived back at around 6pm. I went to the restaurant where I sat for 10 minutes - no staff came to me to ask if I needed anything despite lots of staff wandering around. I approached them and asked if the restaurant was open, to which they replied no, all food is outside. I wrongly assumed the restaurant was also open. I went to buy coupons for the outdoor food but this time they said it was a la carte - it wasn't very clear how to order food, tables didn't have menus so i asked for one. The food was okay - the stir fried beef was tough but the vegetables were okay. Most staff have low levels of English so communicating can be challenging.
Oh, such a mixed bag! I really want to rate this place higher but I have to consider both its pros and cons. This place seems to suffer from a crisis of identity - it appears to want to be a great cafe/restaurant and it just so happens to have a hotel attached to it, almost as an afterthought. Our room was sparse - stripped of all but the absolute essentials. You could see where bedside tables should be, but had been removed. A desk, but no chair to sit at it on. Hot water that was hot for one minute then cold for four (and for a hotel of this price, there should definitely have been toiletries provided). The mattress and pillows were heavenly soft, but the rattling of the air-conditioning unit and adjacent live music venues made sleep difficult. The walls between the two units on each level were thin enough you could listen to your neighbour's TV as though it was in your own room. But! The breakfast offering was well above what we expected for the price. When there was an interruption to the local electricity supply the reception staff generously gave us resort vouchers to use for the inconvenience. It was all just so inconsistent - equal parts great and mediocre. I definitely wouldn't recommend AGAINST staying here, but I would hope that the resort staff took my feedback into consideration before our next stay.

Booked a pool villa but found water leaking from the ceiling because of rain in about 4-5 spots and the air conditioner was dripping. Also, when checking out, the toilet wouldn't flush. But the staff were very nice and opened an additional room for us. The first room had a hot coil that didn't work. The second room had a leaking shower hose, which the staff and technician fixed until we were able to move in. The staff gave us 3 more pieces of cake as a bonus. We ate 6 pieces in total and received a 1,000 baht coupon to buy coffee, drinking water, and tea in the shop.
Shady Tree Resort Delicious and satisfying food
Riverside restaurant with good atmosphere
The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, the service is good, the weather in November is very good.
Very satisfied, the scenery is so beautiful, it’s great to drink a cup of coffee and smoke on the waterfront terrace. Americano coffee beans make your own coffee, swimming and kayaking are optional. Rich breakfast, 12 minutes drive from Erawan Seven-Level Waterfall, a great place for vacation.
Disadvantages: Inconvenient transportation and troublesome shopping and eating outside. We are driving by ourselves, otherwise transportation would be troublesome.
Staff will always take care of customer, All welcome drink, ice cream and good bye drink are all include. Good vibe for resting and have a lot of activity!
The atmosphere is very good. The food is delicious. The rooms are by the pool. The rooms on the edge have a smell inside the bathroom. The bed is noisy. The room is a bit old. I'm not sure if the other rooms by the pool are the same. I was impressed with the area, but I wasn't very impressed with the room.
The accommodation is clean. The staffs are good. But I have to criticize that the room is not soundproof. And on the day I stayed, there was constant noise. It seemed like people were drinking alcohol. Around 3 am once and 5 am again. It made me unable to sleep well. But I think that maybe we came on a day when the hotel customers were not nice.

TTiewJourneyAccommodation is a building divided into rooms. Enough sleep, reasonable price, good location close to Mengqiao. It is easy to call the accommodation, helpful and good advice. Suitable for budget-friendly holidays, no food provided.
เเที่ยวไหนต่อIt is a semi-homestay. Talking to the grandmother, the landlord is very cute. Take good care like relatives. Speak English fluently like ginger language.
- But you have to understand the accommodation before going to the seat toilet. There may be some insects, especially during the rainy season.
- Accommodation price is not expensive. Considered very cheap.
Grandma, but not very old Give advice on travel and travel very well.
Very nice and effluent English communication. Local Thai style homestay.
CCoolings Tan- The entrance at night is very lonely, quite dark.
- The surrounding atmosphere is spacious, there are many zones, you can walk and exercise, but the floor is not smooth, there is a chance of tripping.
- In the room, the blanket is thin, smells musty, the curtains are dusty and probably from opening and closing the curtains, making the first night sneeze all night before falling asleep.
- I like the bathroom, it can let in the wind from outside, light from outside can come in, the atmosphere is clear, but be careful of leaves and black dust that make things dirty. The towels have a strong smell of detergent and are fluffy, indicating that they are very old. When wiping your face and body, you feel that it is not good. And the shower head is old, the water does not spray, wait a long time for the water to heat up.
- Breakfast, few choices and repetitive, making you not hungry.
NNamngernThe atmosphere is very good, the coffee is delicious, everyone in the resort, the service is very good, the rooms are clean, quiet, stylish, very impressed, there is a chance to go back and visit again for sure.
