We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Black Swan. We shared calamari and halloumi starters, along with a delicious soup which came with two huge pieces of crusty bread. It was 2-4-1 on pizzas and they were absolutely delicious with a range of original toppings. My son had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely packed with steak. My daughter went for the Cajun chicken burger and really enjoyed it. We were too full to manage a dessert but the children both went for cheesecake - it was Biscoff and they loved it! We will definitely be back next time we’re in Alnwick.

📍 St Abbs, a beautiful fishing village Located on the coastline at the junction of Scotland and England, the town is small but breathtakingly beautiful! Whether it is the seemingly infinite sea and sky, or the weeds and seagulls on the cliffs, everything here makes people feel healed. 🚆 Transportation route - Depart from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station, take the train to Berwick-upon-Tweed (about 50 minutes) - Transfer to bus 235 to St Abbs, the whole journey is easy, and the Railcard round-trip fare is only 16 pounds 🌟 Hiking route St Abbs is not only the filming location of New Asgard in "Avengers 4", but also a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Recommended navigation 🧭 "St Abb’s Head National Nature Reserve", which is the starting point of the hike. You can see the magnificent coastline and cliff scenery along the way. I only tried part of the route, but I was already amazed! St Abbs, a low-key niche fishing village, is really suitable for experiencing the original natural beauty of Scotland. Don't miss it~
