We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to have dinner in an Italian family atmosphere. The food was terrific as well as the wine. The host had a really great selection of pasta and wine even though it’s a small restaurant. Definitely put this restaurant on your list for Lake Maggiore - you will be thrilled with the experience

The portion is relatively small, but the taste is very good. My wife said the pasta was undercooked, but I tasted it very good. I personally recommend it. I ordered fish, which is very suitable for eating with beer. The bread served before the meal is as hard as usual, but it is very filling. To be honest, I have never understood why a small dish of olive oil is served. It doesn't seem right to add it to the dish or dip it in bread.

Authentic Italian restaurant, but don't expect a romantic scenery. We were the only tourists (and happy with that!)This restaurant serves good italian food, while we were surrounded by the italian casual life. The limoncello of the house was a nice one!

Always an enjoyable experience. We always dine here before our flight home from Malpensa airport. Food is delicious, portion sizes are large, staff is friendly, and a nice ambiance. Restaurant is located in a small town not far from the airport, making it a premium choice. Pizzas, pastas as well as seafood specials. Looking forward to returning soon.

If this isn't the best meal I've had in Italy, then it's very, very close to the top. I spent 3 weeks touring Rome, Umbria, Marche, Veneto, and the wine regions near Florence last year, and 2 weeks touring rural Piedmont and the Tuscan coast this year. This hidden gem was just a 12 minute drive from the Milan airport and we stopped in for dinner on our last night in Italy. The meal blew away absolutely everything our professional tour guides had arranged. The steak tartare with shaved black truffles sitting on a small bed of creamy cheese sauce was just incredible, maybe the best tartar I've ever had. The fried pumpkin and porcini mushrooms were also very, very good. The octopus soup my companion ordered was good, but the Veal Osso Buco with Risotto alla Milanese was the star of the show. The wine list wasn't extensive, but it was good, and the owner recommended an off-menu Tuscan sangiovese for the osso buco and an off-menu botrytized white for the pumpkin tiramisu dessert. Amazing!
