TheForkUserThis establishment is truly amazing, and the chef's creations are both whimsical and delicious. Our sommelier was absolutely fantastic, and we got seated at the best table in the house, right in front of the wine cellar. I cannot say enough about how friendly and wonderful the service team were. Truly fantastic. We loved everything we tried on the pre fixe tasting menu, and the restaurant was very happy to accomodate our dietary restrictions (I am vegetarian and my husband does not eat red meat).

TheForkUserWe had a lovely meal at Casa Urola. The ambiance is cozy and elegant without being pretentious. The service was gracious and friendly, and the food was excellent (we chose the lobster salad, the foie gras, the steak tartare and the spider crab donostia/style). The amuse buche was a delicious leek purée with smoked idazabal cheese. A perfect evening in San Sebastián!

TheForkUserThe setting is beautiful with a Mountain View. The restaurant itself has a charming interior. We had tbe 9 course vegetarian menu for one and the a regular 9 course menu too. All the food was prepared and seasoned to perfection. The staff were very friendly and informative and a each course arrived at a good pace.

We had the top tasting menu with wines pairings. The sequencing and flow of each course either wines was slightly chaotic, suggesting the team may have been short staffed. Sommelier was very knowledgable and friendly.The ambience was somewhat spoilt as the dining space was not busy, but fully lit rather than being more softly lit. Although the sunset and then the view over San Sebastián was stunning, you are looking at a reflection of a half empty very white dining room in the glass windows! I’m sure with some thought this could be much improved
