But again the kindness of the personal in charge today soften the wait. Unfortunately one of starters (Tuna) was missing seasonings? A pity.The DAO wine 🍷 was excellent. At the end we had the pleasant surprise to get a serious discount and two Moscatel bottle shots to apologize . Melia Bar tapas you know how to give a great customer experience EVEN when things go wrong. Bravo 🍾 keep it up. Thank you to your team. 8 of Mars woman day dinner. You saved my life 😉

TheForkUserNice restaurant with good food and kind waiters - a little slow but then it was in Alentejo ???? I had the fish stew with macaron huge portion, had to bring home a doggie bag! Excellent wine from the region, will definitely go back one day.

TheForkUserLovely, typical food from the Alentejo and very popular. Lots of choice and some really interesting dishes. If you would like a table on a Sunday, it is a good idea to book though lots of people are willing to queue to get in. Well worth a visit.

5. 490 TAberna STB

TheForkUserWe went to 490 Taberna for a friend's birthday. The service was excellent - and the food was great. We had a wide variety of tapas and shared everything. Definitely will be going back!

TheForkUsertake a fresh fish! choose it from the counter, let them weigh it and ask how much it will cost and just wait ! the cantarile 'red fish' was excellent fot the two of us weighing 1250 gr.,

TheForkUserGood food and very nice staff. The only downside was the couvert’s bread because it wasn’t fresh. The rest of the food was perfect.

TheForkUserWe had a booking for 9.15pm and arrived 20min later and the host was nice and welcoming and quickly arranged us a table for 2. The restaurant was crowded so we were really lucky. The food was amazing, from the entrees to the dessert. We had the sea bass, the berries sangria and the chocolate flavours for dessert which was really good. The restaurant opened recently so they are still getting the hang of things, specially when it comes to the service but the hosts are impeccable and they take care of everything very professionally. We wish you the best and hope to come back!
