It is said that this is the most recommended restaurant in Trondheim. We were turned away without reservation on the first day. We had to make reservation on the second day to eat there. The two-story restaurant with an ordinary storefront still felt depressing. The distance between the tables was too small. We could hear clearly what others said. The service was very good. We asked for pre-dinner drinks after we sat down. Then we were introduced to the special appetizers and main dishes of the day. The special appetizer monkfish was fried and of course delicious. The fish meat was quite firm. In addition, another appetizer, king crab legs, had a sweet crab flavor. The main dishes were three other devil fish, red fish, and butterfish. The methods were similar. They were all fried and drizzled with different sauces. Although the waiter kept asking how it tasted, I actually thought it was just average. However, the service was very good.

As soon as he stepped into the store, he said good morning energetically. Looking at the dazzling array of meals in front of the counter, he casually ordered a ham and cheese ciabatta sandwich and a cup of espresso, and found a table facing the outside. In the morning after breakfast, all kinds of office workers passed by the window.

In Trondheim, Norway, which basically sells burgers and sandwiches, you can only find this restaurant Havfruen by the old town bridge and the Nieder River after being introduced by the locals. You can occupy a table by the window even without a reservation. The view outside the window is the Nieder River and the row of colorful wooden houses on the water. The view is very good. The waiter will first ask the guests what aperitif they want to drink, and then introduce the menu after the aperitif. Mussels from Afjord, white wine boiled mussels, divided into large and small portions, large portions can be used as a main course, and small portions are appetizers. Because the mussels are too fat and absorb the soup, one by one and then drink a sip of white wine, the mouthful of grapes and honey is so delicious that you can't stop eating, and there is meat in each mussel, and there is no phenomenon of several empty shells for one mussel meat. Whale, whale steak, a Norwegian specialty, fat whale, the meat is really hard and woody, not delicious at all. Catch of the day, fresh fish of the day, cod, very smooth and tough, good reviews Creamed Fishsoup, Norwegian cream fish soup, another Norwegian specialty, too much salmon and too big pieces, cooked salmon has a strong fishy smell, and they don't know how to use ginger to remove the fishy smell, this is a bit inferior. After dinner, take a walk by the river, with beautiful scenery and delicious food, this is the meaning of my travel.

A small Thai restaurant in Trondheim, with a small entrance. Many of the people who come here to eat are Thais living in Norway. You have to look at the menu and place an order at the service counter. I ordered Thai fried rice noodles, 189 Norwegian kroner, which is 10 times the price in Thailand. The beef soup noodles and Tom Yum Goong are also quite expensive because the Norwegian living standard is too high. The portion is 2-3 times more than that in Thailand, which is suitable for Norwegians. The taste is very authentic because it is made by Thais. The Thai fried rice noodles I like have peanut butter and crushed peanuts, which are very fragrant. The beef soup noodles have beef balls and beef slices. The amount of meat is really a lot, and I can't finish it at all. In order to adapt to the taste of Norwegians, Thai Tom Yum Goong is not too spicy. The shrimps used are not the whole shelled prawns in Thailand, but the shrimps from the Atlantic Ocean. It's a good place to eat Thai food if you can't eat the cold bread in Norway.

This is a western restaurant located not far from a very famous city park. It is about a 14 or 15-minute walk away, so it is very convenient. I ordered their oysters with champagne.

An Italian restaurant with a great environment. The portions are too big and I feel full. Foreigners' appetite is really amazing. The dishes are simple and exquisite. The wontons are westernized and look a bit like Italian dumplings. The foie gras dumplings are good! Delicious!
