TheForkUserA fantastic experience provided by chef Alexandre Silva in a great setting, blended perfectly with the local environment. We recommend the fish options: an excellent cataplana, a great mushroom risotto with pregado or, my favourite, a garoupa in the josper (the fish varies according to availability). The view is excellent. Service is competent. Deserts were once again unique, and I must recommend the macerated fruits, a fresh taste that is different than any desert you have experienced before.The only thing I thought it was overpriced was the wine. Each bottle is more than 3 times its market value, which I honestly feel it’s too much and can’t find a good reason for this.Overall a great experience, and you can’t find better in terms of high cuisine in the area. You need to go to a crowded Lisbon to find this level of quality.

TheForkUserGreat place. Quite new to Ericeira, having previously been in Mafra for many years. High quality, beautifully cooked meat and game dishes, traditionally prepared. Recommended for great food and friendly service.

5. Afonso dos Leitoes

TheForkUserAfonso dos leitãos is always a winning bet. Good food and well served, the house sparkling wine is excellent, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing (it depends on the rest of the clientele). The service is quality and they are extremely attentive. I will come back whenever I have the opportunity and am craving a good suckling pig.

7. La Bohème

TheForkUserWe loved everything, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff member who explained everything to us and made us feel welcome, to the meal which was delicious. We chose the La Boheme Brunch and the English Brunch, both amazing. The only caveat is to recommend caution when going up and down the wooden stairs near the entrance, which become slippery when it rains (I ended up skidding on the way down and ending up on the floor, resulting in a Matcha Latte bath, a drink I tried for the first time and highly recommend because it was delicious, I just felt sad/depressed about wasting it on my face and the floor). We will definitely be back, but we will avoid the stairs :D
