TheForkUserThis was a wonderful meal from start to finish! The Bergerac white wine paired perfectly with our dishes. Our starters, foie gras for me and sweetbreads in an amazing mushroom casserole for my husband, were delicious. We both had the sea bass for the main course and it too was delicious. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasty, but we couldn’t finish them after all the great food that came before. Excellent, attentive service. No rushing. A beautiful evening! TheForkUserA fantastic find in Castillion! Food is spectacular and extremely good value if you have the set menu. All starters were delicious but the langoustines were a highlight and the perfect size. We had the duck and beef for main courses which were also good sized portions and very flavoursome. It’s a small but serene spot so best to book and service was delightful. Will definitely revisit!
