Our starters, foie gras for me and sweetbreads in an amazing mushroom casserole for my husband, were delicious. We both had the sea bass for the main course and it too was delicious. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasty, but we couldn’t finish them after all the great food that came before. Excellent, attentive service. No rushing. A beautiful evening! TheForkUserOutstanding restaurant - quality of food was simply amazing as were the pairing wines. Attentive, knowledgeable waiting staff ensured a relaxed and friendly experience. Food was beautifully presented and every course was totally delicious. This was great value for money too . We wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner!

TheForkUserLe Moulin du Roc is in an idyllic position on a pretty river. We were entertained by dancing damsel flies, the ones Rossetti describes as ‘like a blue thread loosened from the sky’, and a passing kingfisher zooming up and down. The service is professional and friendly; our waitress who did an impeccable job also advised me on how to germinate acer seeds!As for the food, it is classic French haute cuisine with imaginative details; strawberries with pea mousse, and savoury sorbets, for example. Everything delicious and attractively presented.Can’t wait till the next time.
