TheForkUserWe thought the food was amazing, we were in Brantome the previous night in a Michelin starred restaurant, the food here is as good, if not better. The service was excellent, we'll be back for sure one day.

TheForkUserBoizé is part of the Mercure hotel in Niort. It has a very nice/warm atmosphere with original and tasteful decoration. The food and drinks are served quickly and offer very good value for money. The staff are very friendly, helpful and competent.

6. La Brasserie de la Repentie

TheForkUserA very nice surprise this restaurant that we often pass by and that we had not yet tried. Warm welcome by very friendly staff, fire in the fireplace, and great options on the menu. We had the grilled langoustines, very good although a little too grilled for our taste. Gourmet coffee for dessert, delicious. Special mention to the waitresses, kind and efficient. We will come back.

7. Café de L'Escale

TheForkUserWe had made a prior booking for 12.30pm and were given a good choice of a table on the terrace when we arrived. The staff were attentive and friendly. We would recommend an early arrival as the terrace soon fills up. We're vegetarian and chose galettes with warm goats cheese with honey and salad, and we shared some chips, all enjoyable.

TheForkUserMenu formula (32€) a remarkable quality-price ratio the plates are both pretty and tasty. For eel lovers, do not hesitate to add the small supplement requested, they are delicious! As for the gourmet dessert plate at the end, it is a real success.
