This is a lovely restaurant with an excellent view from the window. Decorated well and really nice atmosphere even dough it was very quite when we were there. Food was superb excellent quality overall and excellent experience highly recommended.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented and a sensible size.  The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and discreet.  It was a really lovely evening.

The Honey Pot is a restaurant that specializes in old Beijing hotpot. Their beef and lamb are very good, especially the hot lamb, which is so delicious that it doesn&#39;t fall over. Their handmade shrimp paste is also very good, and there are special sesame cakes, which I personally think are also very filling. We also ordered half a dozen lamb skewers.

It&#39;s off-season now. There are two waiters, who are very diligent and friendly. We had fried haddock and chips for &pound;9.95 (crispy beer crust, fresh haddock, very authentic) and his newly fresh crab sandwich (it&#39;s different from the Devon brown crab in that it tastes sweeter. One flaw is that he used whole grain bread to cover the taste of the crab.) We have to say that we didn&#39;t go in for these, but for Cornish cream tea (standard scone, cottage cream, jam and a pot of tea). The scones made by this shop are warm in the hand. Scones are biscuits with the taste of cake, and there is nothing special about them. The Cornwall way of eating is the same as the way Elizabeth II eats it, which is to put the jam on first and then the cream. First of all, you won&#39;t put too much jam, and then the cream has a special aftertaste of milk. It&#39;s &pound;6.95.

Excellent, fresh food and a friendly atmosphere.  I had the scallops and they were amazing.  Feels like a very welcoming, family-run restaurant.
