3. Le Mogador

TheForkUserService was excellent but the food was not as fresh as it should have been. There was a lot of choice on the menu but very diverse choices. Maybe trying to cater for everyone but didn’t work for us. A nice location.

TheForkUserThe buffet formula creates more traffic than usual but it didn’t matter and added to the novelty. The quality of dishes was very good and service could not be faulted. First visit for us but not last.

TheForkUserGood homemade dishes, attractive prices, a nice atmosphere and a waitress who is lovely with the children. We have been coming to Ronce-les-Bains for 3 years... we are disappointed not to have eaten there sooner!!! A better experience than the restaurants on the main street!!!

TheForkUserLovely outdoor setting for a perfect early summer dinner. The duck magret was cooked to perfection as was the duo artichoke entree, great service, superb wine list.

7. Manger sur la Plage

TheForkUserLovely setting overlooking the lagoon with views to Oleron. Good menu choices and wine selection. The turbot was suberb! Always reliably good.

8. La Citadelle

TheForkUserWe went to La Citadelle as it was recommended by a friend and what a good recommendation it was. It is in a beautiful position on the bank of the river. The food was excellent, the presentation was tempting and appetizing and got the taste buds working. The flavour was as good as the visual. Would we recommend this restaurant of course we would and look forward to being able to go again.

9. Le Bastion
