TheForkUserThe Burton restaurant has always been the one we've been to for 20 years but recently the plates have been cold and the food not quite as hot as it was . The staff are great and the meats always beautifully cooked and now I have the app we will be there even more !

TheForkUserJulia was really welcoming on our arrival and we were able to place our order for drinks. On Julia’s return we were able to order our meals- Simply Chicken with jacket Potatoes. Shortly after Julia came to our table to inform us that jacket potatoes were unavailable and told us of our other options, which we reordered. Our meals arrived short after and we enjoyed our food.. At the time of our visit the restaurant was quiet but did get busier later on, we liked the seating area that we were placed in.

TheForkUserCracking little find. Wanted something close to De Montfort Hall and this little gem did not disappoint. Welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, served with really decent quality food in good time and in a tastefully furnished area of the restaurant with a nice ambience.We will certainly be returning in the future.

TheForkUserA perfect warm location for a family get together. Menu choices were good and food delicious. Service quite prompt but it was a busy restaurant at the time. Had everything on the menu apart from honeypot desert that alot of guests would have had :-(However all enjoyed and not having the extra calorie intake was probably a good thing :-)We shall return hopefully in the future.

TheForkUserWe booked for 12:30 thinking it would be quieter than 1… absolutely manic but the service was quick and the food was great. Had a short wait in a queue for the carvery but it was worth it. Food extremely fresh and staff busy swapping stuff over for freshly made food.Despite the business no issues and served good food quickly. Pudding and bottomless drinks also great.They didn’t actually have our Fork booking but got us in. No fault of the Fork - Toby had booked us somewhere miles away…

TheForkUserI always find the Rose and Crown good all round service and quality and again it didn't disoppoint. I went with four friends who had never been and they really enjoyed it as well.

TheForkUserExcellent choice of side dishes available and I thought I'd never finish my plateful, but I did because it was all really delicious. I especially like the macaroni cheese. Our waitress was above and beyond efficient and is at a standard to be strived for. I wonder if they're all like her in Runcorn!
