Solid choice for a no-fuss dinner. Food was well-priced and the staff didn't keep us waiting. Got a bit busy later on, but nothing stressful.

Been coming here for a while now. Portions are still big and the price is fair, that's why I keep going back. Last time the guy at the counter even remembered my usual order. Place gets busy around noon but it's worth it. Not fancy at all, just solid food done right.

Fabulous regional food! Very tasty, huge portions and incredible value! The staff made us very welcome and seemed happy to ser

Location is perfect, by River Tâmega and near the monastery and bridge. The price is really good considering the quality of the food and service (for soup, garlic bread and main course and drinks, we paid around 25€ a person)

Food was great, staff is friendly and the music and atmosphere was lots of fun

The owner let us taste a few wines before picking one — that was a nice touch. Grilled octopus was spot on, super tender. Place is small and gets busy, but worth it.

The veggie burger really surprised me - nicely stacked, fresh bun, and the patty actually held together. Staff was friendly too, didn't rush us even though it was busy. Only thing is the fries could've been hotter, but honestly I'd go back just for that burger.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their veggie plate. Not always easy to find good vegetarian options around here, so that was a win. Food tasted fresh, like someone actually took the time to make it. Service was fast too, which I appreciate. Place was a bit busy but worth it.

The grilled octopus was spot-on, and they paired it nicely with a crisp white wine. Menu’s in both languages, so easy for us foreigners. Just double-check their hours before heading over—we almost got turned away.

Came here after a friend’s tip, it’s a little tucked away but easy enough to find. I had the steak and honestly it was better than some fancy places I’ve been to. Cooked just right, juicy, no fancy sauce needed. Portion was decent for the price too. Would go back if I’m in the area again.

The daily special was a solid deal, tasty and well plated. Service lagged a bit, they were swamped.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is lovely, especially the terrace for outdoor dining. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided.

Three courses for about €20 each and the food was solid, soup to dessert. Good spot if you're out with friends and wanna keep it casual without breaking the bank 😄

Been coming here for a while now. Still love their tea selection, you don't see those options everywhere. The little chocolate on the side is a nice touch too.

The white port was the highlight for me—crisp, slightly nutty, went down easy after walking around all day. Tasting room staff let us take our time, didn’t rush us. Could’ve used a bit more guidance on the food pairings though. Solid stop if you’re into fortified wines.

Loved the vibe here — that retro decor really gives the place character. I went for the grilled octopus and it was spot on, tender and smoky. The wine list surprised me too, found a nice Portuguese red that paired beautifully with the dish. Service was friendly, though it did take a while to get the bill. Solid spot overall.

Mixed starters were bland, mains overcooked. Disappointing tbh. Service and view saved it though.

The octopus was the star of the meal, honestly. Cooked just right, full of flavor, no complaints there. Service stayed friendly the whole time, even when the place got busier. Didn't try much else, but that dish alone made it worth stopping by. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd go back for that octopus again.

We stopped by for lunch and the food was decent — portions are generous, no complaints there. Just note they charge for the bread and olives they bring out, and it’s cash only. Service was a bit slow but the river view made up for it. Pretty good spot overall if you’re not in a hurry.

We came with a few friends and sat near the window. The food was solid, pretty traditional, and the kitchen sent out a couple of small surprises we didn't expect. Service was friendly enough, nothing to complain about. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, my back started feeling it halfway through.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a seat by the river—such a chill vibe. The staff were friendly, made it easy to relax. I had the grilled octopus, super tender, went well with the glass of red they suggested. Wine list is pretty solid, lots of options. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but still a nice spot.

The francesinha here is seriously good, one of the best I've had in Portugal. The sauce is rich but not heavy, and that smoked sausage gives it a nice kick. Cool modern space too.

I was particularly impressed by the tasting menu, which was innovative and perfectly paired with wines. Each course was a delightful surprise, reflecting the chef's creativity and dedication to quality.

The veggie burger here is seriously good. Like, one of the better ones I've had, and I'm picky about that. It's a bit pricey, but the flavor makes up for it. Just wish the patty was a little bigger for the cost. Still, I'd come back for that burger alone.

Solid meal for the price. Wine, coffee, full course—€25 each. Fair deal for the quality. Service was quick too.

The grilled chicken with fried potatoes reminded me of Sunday lunch at my grandma's. Nothing fancy, just simple food done right. Prices are fair too.

Came for the beer, stayed for the francesinha. Their own brew is solid, really enjoyed it. The sandwich was good, loaded and messy like it should be. Just don't come starving—food took a while to come out even on a weekday. Worth it if you're not in a rush.
