Decent spot for traditional Romanian food. Prices are fair and the place is clean. Just expect a bit of a wait if you go during peak hours.

Came here on a whim and honestly the food hit the spot. Had the traditional stew and it tasted like something my grandma would make. Place was pretty quiet for a Tuesday evening, which I liked. Service was fine, nothing fancy but they left us alone to eat. Maybe a bit slow with the drinks but whatever. Would come back if I'm craving that home-cooked feel again.

The cakes here are seriously good—like, some of the best I’ve had around. I tried one with a soft center and it was just right, not too sweet. The ladies working the blonde shift were super nice too, made it feel easygoing. Definitely gonna stop by again if I’m in the area.

The pork knuckle was decent, crispy skin, tender meat. But everything came out at once, soup next to the main course. I wanted the soup first. Also, most dishes leaned a bit sweet for my taste. Portions are fair for what you pay though. Would come back just for the knuckle, maybe ask them to hold the sugar.

Stopped here before heading to the mountains — rooms were clean and fresh, staff friendly. Nice calm vibe, nothing fancy but did the job.
