摆渡修行I went to check in at the traditional Austrian restaurant where the fried schnitzel is said to be bigger than my face. - Wiener Kalbsschnitzel: I hadn't digested the donuts in my stomach yet, so I shared a portion of fried veal steak with Hu Zi. Because it was too big, it was directly divided into two large pieces on the plate, each of which was bigger than my face. The thin fried steak, the batter and seasoning were good, and the potato salad was slightly sour and refreshing. Overall, it was worth it (about 21 euros for 2 fried veal steaks + potato salad). My friend's appetite is much smaller than mine. After eating a donut, he only had the appetite to drink soup in this restaurant. However, the best fried steak I had in Berlin was in alpenstueck, which also used veal. I liked the seasoning and texture very much. I remember that it was not as big as Alt Wien, and the price was slightly higher, about 25 euros per portion. As for other dishes in alpenstueck, it depends on luck. Some of them are delicious, and some of them are a bit strange in combination/taste. When I was in Berlin, I lived a 5-minute walk from the alpenstueck. Every time I went there, I would order veal schnitzel, and then other random dishes.
