Mikado

Mikado is a Japanese restaurant that ranks highly in the local area. The environment of these two restaurants is a bit like a western restaurant. I ordered a large portion of eel rice and some sashimi platters.

The lunch price is cheaper than dinner, we ordered the deluxe bento, which had sashimi, teriyaki beef, tempura and salmon. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with vegetables. The food was great and the service was fast.

My family and I have been going to Mikado on South Common and we have never had a bad meal since it opened. Always good food, though presentation and portion sizes vary and are always disappointing!! The atmosphere is great and perfect for special occasions, a romantic outing or a day out with the kids. They will accommodate you no matter what. This is one of the best sushi restaurants in the city with well trained chefs who have some of their own special touches that you rarely see at other sushi restaurants. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The dishes in this restaurant are very exquisite, and the taste and cooking methods are very good. The prices are also moderate and very cost-effective.
