This restaurant serves authentic Quebec cuisine in one of the oldest houses in Quebec. It was a very pleasant dining experience with excellent service in a very comfortable atmosphere.

This is a famous restaurant in Quebec. I came here following the online reviews. The salmon pie I ordered today was a perfect hit, the sauce was not greasy and the pie crust was crispy. My friend is a vegetarian, so he ordered a vegetarian stew. I really recommend its desserts.

Credit cards accepted The restaurant opens at 12 noon. We arrived 20 minutes early and there were already several groups of people queuing at the door. There is a special set menu from 12 to 17:45, including wine + appetizer + main course + dessert, priced at 19.95 Canadian dollars before tax. There are several dishes to choose from for main courses, and even if you don't increase the price, you can still choose 3-4 kinds of dishes freely. If you increase the price, the choices will be more abundant. We don't drink alcohol, so we asked for 4 cups of hot water. For the appetizer, we ordered 2 servings of pea soup (very pungent herbal smell, but after a few sips, you can get used to it. The taste is so-so), 1 serving of the daily soup (that day it was cream soup), which was not bad after trying it, and 1 serving of cream lobster soup with an additional price of 9 yuan. The packaging is much better than the other soups, and the taste is definitely better than my herbal soup, but in terms of cost performance, the daily soup still wins. For the main course, I ordered 2 Quebec meat pies, 1 chef's recommendation (it looks like meat pie, but the taste is similar to Quebec meat pie), and I ordered 1 salmon scones with cream sauce on the plate. I think the taste of these main dishes is quite similar, just like various meat pies. It's acceptable after a few bites, but it's quite nauseating if you eat too much. The four of us couldn't finish the plate. For dessert, I chose 2 maple syrup pies, 1 maple syrup bread pudding, and 1 chocolate pie for 4 yuan. I prefer maple syrup pie, but I have to eat it with the homemade cream, otherwise the maple syrup pie alone is very sweet.

This little red house is Aux Anciens Canadiens, a famous restaurant in Beek that has been the most popular restaurant for many years. The coachman recommended it to us when we were riding in a carriage around the ancient city. But we had just finished lunch, so we went to the restaurant entrance after getting off the carriage. We found that there were people taking pictures at the entrance like us, which shows that it is famous. We will definitely come to taste it next time!

I highly recommend Neptune's shell, which has super large shrimp and scallops with sweet pumpkin sauce. There is also the classic meat pie.
