The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant

It takes a while to sit on the rooftop terrace and as we were very hungry we decided to sit inside. The restaurant has a modern urban feel and overall was great!

This is the best seafood restaurant on the island. When you go out for fun, you should eat better. The oysters are really fresh, the crab legs are well processed and easy to eat. The ingredients are a little different from those in China.

This restaurant is not very big. In fact, foreign restaurants are not as particular about environment and decoration as our domestic restaurants. But my favorite is their desserts. Of course, their food is enough to fill you up.

It took me a long time to find it. The door is in a small corner. Go up to the second floor. The waiter is waiting with a smile at the stairs. Take me to the third floor. There is a terrace. Although it is winter, it is not cold at all. There are fireplaces and heaters on all sides. The view is excellent. The restaurant mainly serves seafood. The ingredients are quite fresh. The waiter will also give suggestions and make adjustments when ordering. The overall feeling is superb. It is worth recommending.

The Sandbar is at the innermost of Creekhouse, like a quiet courtyard. There is a menu at the entrance of the courtyard, which not only serves brunch on weekends, but also has Happy Hour on weekdays. However, Granville Island no longer provides free parking, so it is a little more troublesome to eat here than before.

I just arrived in Vancouver after more than 10 hours of flight. My appetite was not very good, so I ordered two dishes, one was grilled ribs and the other was Boston lobster. The taste was OK but the quantity was not large, and it did not include any side dishes. The price was more than 20 Canadian dollars per dish. The restaurant is in a good location, just under the Granville Island Bridge, and you can see a good view.
