I went skiing at General Mountain in Altay these days.
I went skiing in Hemu in the past two years, but this is my first time to General Mountain in Altay.
I would like to share my experience of skiing at General Mountain with you:
◾️About the conditions of General Mountain Ski Resort
In November, it didn&#39;t snow much at General Mountain, and only the Magic Carpet and Golden Light ski trails were open
(now there are three trails open). It is recommended that you go there in mid-to-late December. It didn&#39;t snow much. The scenery will also be greatly discounted.
But the sunset at General Mountain is really beautiful. There is a DJ on the top of the ski resort every day, the atmosphere is full, and the feeling of night skiing is also very good.
▪️Transportation
✈️Fly from Chengdu to Urumqi and take the Y965 train to Altay (you must buy a soft sleeper), you can experience the soft sleeper once.
▪️About accommodation
This time I stayed at Wanda Meihua, the room is relatively new. The price-performance ratio is OK. It is a little far from the ski resort, and it takes about half an hour every day including waiting for the bus.
▪️Food
Big plate chicken, spicy chicken, black mushroom, ramen, not many types, similar taste. There is no delicious food in Altay. The only place I have eaten and want to go is the Silk Road Appointment in Urumqi.

If you want to ski + travel, I recommend you go directly to Kanas and Hemu. Hemu Jikepulin Ski Resort is actually very suitable for beginners. Everyone goes outside the ski slope, and sometimes there is still noodle snow inside the slope in the afternoon.
Jiangjunshan Ski Resort is more suitable for pure skiing enthusiasts who want to stay here for a long time.

This restaurant called &quot;Xinyan&quot; is really real. The original price is 354 yuan, minus the rush order and points, and it is 284 yuan to fill a table, and a bottle of Dapao drink is also given. This is not a roadside store or a big stall, but a Xinjiang-style dining environment like Guangzhou&#39;s &quot;Taikoo Hui&quot;. This is my Altay! It&#39;s a popular area for tourism! There is a key factor in this trip: from the outer mountains of Qingcheng, Sichuan to Altay, Xinjiang, there is a highway along the entire line. After driving 3,580 kilometers, climbing Lianbaoyezhe, watching the sunrise on the plateau, worshiping the sacred snow peaks, rushing to the salt lake to explore the wonders, and entering the Huiwangfu to increase knowledge, we crossed four provinces and regions and arrived at Altay City in the Altay region of Xinjiang. 1. Pilaf
Before coming to Xinjiang, I thought that pilaf is just rice, how delicious can it be? As a result, under the introduction of a friend, I went to No. 32 Pilaf. Since then, pilaf has changed from a staple food to a delicacy in my mind! Pilaf is very oily but not greasy, and the radish inside is very soft and tasty. You can choose pilaf with meat, and the mutton is particularly large and fragrant.
2. Mixed noodles
If you have never eaten Xinjiang mixed noodles, I would recommend trying spicy noodles or fried meat noodles for the first time. The noodles of Xinjiang mixed noodles are very chewy. Personally, I like Huiyuan mixed noodles and Black Mushroom Fast Food the most. The two stores are next door. You can see many chefs making noodles on the spot. The spicy noodles are a bit spicy, and the meat is very chewy. The point is that the noodles are free to refill! It is so delicious that I refilled two servings, and I was reluctant to leave because my belt was loosened by two sections.
3. Meatball soup
Meatball soup is a delicacy of the Hui people. A local Hui sister took me to the pony meatball soup. Compared with pilaf noodles, meatball soup is lighter, with tofu, meatballs, etc. added. A bowl of meatball soup will come with two oil cakes, which are a bit like the steamed buns in the mainland, but not quite the same. It is really nice to have a bowl of hot meatball soup for breakfast! 
4 Ethnic pastries are up to you
The most famous pastry shop in Altay is Amina Pastry. There are dozens of pastry styles in the shop, each of which is small and exquisite. You can pick them up with a clip and taste each one. But it must be said that ethnic minorities like sweet. The pastries are too sweet compared to those in the mainland. I personally don&rsquo;t like them very much, but I have to try them since I&rsquo;m here.
5 Cold Noodles
Let&rsquo;s just say that Xinjiang people are generous! A portion of cold noodles made me full. Many locals will choose to mix them all when they go to the cold noodles shop. There will be cold noodles, yellow noodles, and beef tendon noodles. You can have them all in one portion, and the taste is very refreshing.
6 Salty milk tea &amp; baorsak, thrifty or extravagant
When you come to Xinjiang, you must try the ethnic breakfast! Baorsak spread with jam and a bowl of salty milk tea, start the day. Salty milk tea is different from sweet milk tea, the taste is very special, a hot bowl of salty flavor. I recommend Nurguli Restaurant, their taste is very good.
7 Thin-skinned buns
After eating thin-skinned buns, I know what thin skin and thick filling mean! Girls can eat two or three. I personally think that the thin-skinned buns of No. 32 pilaf are very delicious. A pilaf with two buns, I don&rsquo;t need to say how happy I am.
