What motivates me to eat breakfast 🥗 Maybe only once a year 🍴 This year's share went to the Rushi Sea Resort 💚🩵 "Rushi Restaurant," built around a lake, The design is inspired by the ocean 🌊 Featuring local, seasonal ingredients 🍄 and freshly caught seafood 🐚 Introducing a Michelin-rated Rushi custom menu Lakeside hot pot 🥘 paired with Qinhuangdao wine 🍷 Taste and atmosphere, perfect 💯! Whether it's the tranquility of early morning mist, the bustle and brightness of sunny days, or the romance of dusk, the lakeside scenery is beautiful all day long. #These hotels have amazing views #The place I'm always asking about on WeChat Moments #Have a seafood feast #Hot pot you'll have to queue for #Restaurant with a view
The only restaurant at the newly opened Hotel Indigo in Beidaihe offers a pleasant lakeside setting, with both an outdoor area and booths overlooking the lake. The hotel's promotional video was also filmed here. This is actually an all-day dining restaurant, with a main hall and private rooms. It currently offers a buffet breakfast and à la carte lunch and dinner. The prices aren't cheap, often well over three figures, which is understandable given Beidaihe. Although Diamond Card holders receive a 90 yuan meal voucher, it wasn't enough to order a single dish, so I only had one main course. So, I simply opted for a few bottles of Coke instead of dinner. Breakfast is now a full buffet, rather than a semi-buffet with an a la carte menu. The menu hasn't changed much, and while the service is generally good, the quality of the food could definitely be improved. The off-season room rate of around 1,500 yuan certainly doesn't justify the price. 1. The noodle stall offered beef noodles and wontons. The beef in the beef noodles was quite mushy, and the broth was okay, but the noodles were a complete mess. The wontons were just okay, with a rather strange amount of shredded stewed meat. Perhaps they advertised using real broth? However, the broth was quite bland. 2. The Roujiamo (roujiamo) was a Baijimo version, which is indeed quite rare. They did come with green peppers, which I didn't mind. The biggest problem was that the meat was generous but not well stewed. It wasn't fragrant or salty, and the greasiness of the fat was completely overpowering. It was a complete failure. 3. Then there were the semi-finished pies and steamed dumplings. I won't mention them, but the Jianbing (jianbing) had been sitting around for so long that I couldn't chew it. 4. The Chinese hot and cold dish stalls were almost completely empty, with only the stir-fried shrimp and broccoli being okay. Of course, there weren't many options anyway. 5. There were a few basic Western cold cuts, including smoked salmon, but the quality was average. 6. There were four fruit cuts and two freshly squeezed juices, including orange juice. However, this so-called freshly squeezed orange juice tasted a lot like Orange Juice, which I doubted. 7. In the bakery, only one almond croissant was passable; the others were too dry, as if they had been sitting at room temperature for two days. Overall, the hotel wasn't sophisticated and the variety was limited. While you shouldn't expect too much from the Indigo brand, even the cheapest Indigo Suzhou Ancient Canal breakfast was quite good. Furthermore, for a hotel with a base room costing over 3,000 yuan in peak season and over 1,500 yuan in off-season, it's really unacceptable. #These Hotels Have Amazing Views #Buffet Guide #HotelAddicted
