After eating several meals of Chengde dishes, I always feel that they are too salty and oily, and this Impression Chengde Kitchen is no exception. However, the amount of dishes in the north is more than that in Hangzhou. We ordered dishes worth about 300 yuan, but 7 people couldn't finish them. The legendary lotus root braised pig's trotters is not as delicious as the three dishes in Lao Chengde. The most popular dish is not the representative dish of Chengde, but a bowl of green vegetable and tofu soup.
