I highly recommend their Fuxian Lake lotus root slices as a side dish. Each slice is incredibly thin and crispy, and tastes incredibly fresh—super delicious. Chengjiang Specialty Braised Pork Trotter 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is another local specialty. The trotter is enormous, incredibly tender and bouncy after cooking. The seasoning isn't heavy, but it's definitely not fishy at all. Each bite is bursting with collagen, so you absolutely have to try it. Copper Pot Potato Rice 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The potato rice was perfect for our taste. The potatoes were crispy on one side and soft on the other. You can still capture waves of wheat without going to Dali! 🌿🌿🌿 I took a life-changing photo in the wheat fields by Fuxian Lake. Location: Yanghai Village, Chengjiang, Yuxi. This location works fine with navigation. It's a half-hour drive from Chenggong. Time: ⏰We recommend going after 4:00 PM to capture the green waves of wheat, as well as the golden sunset. The scenery is also beautiful, and the sunlight isn't glaring. Camera: I regret not bringing a camera, so I took photos with my phone. If you have a drone, definitely bring one; I've seen many drone-themed films. Outfit: Light-colored clothing is recommended; both white and blue dresses are suitable. A woven bag is a must-have. A straw fan makes a great photo prop. You can also bring a watermelon as a photo prop for stunning photos. It wasn't crowded when we went, so there were plenty of places to take photos. We searched for food and found "Huzhiwei Fishing Village." The fishing village has a striking facade, and the three-story restaurant, housed in a courtyard, is clean and freshly decorated.
