On the first day in Chiayi, I visited Wenhua Road and saw that Guo's Chicken Rice was doing very well with a long queue. I didn't queue because there were other options. It rained on the second night, and although there were still many customers, at least I didn't have to queue. The dining environment was just average, but after a bite of chicken rice, I felt that everything was worth it. It was delicious and not expensive.

I don’t know if this restaurant is famous. But it was my first time in Jiaxi so I decided to go there. I packed a pork fritter. After eating here, I found the pork fritters to be good. There was pork tenderloin on top and some sauce on the bottom. The amount of pork was not too much and there were some side dishes with Chinese cabbage. The amount was enough.

It was delicious. It looked like a bowl of white rice with some shredded chicken on top, but it tasted very fragrant. The soup soaked in the rice and it was not greasy at all. The service was not good. There were too many people in the restaurant and it was too busy.
