Visiting Wudang Mountain Scenic Area, staying at the Jianguo Hotel at the entrance of the scenic area at the foot of the mountain, after taking a short rest after going down the mountain, I walked to the nearby street to find food and took a fancy to this simple and low-key local restaurant. The layout of the restaurant is relatively simple, even a bit rustic. The boss personally ran around to greet the guests, was responsible for taking orders, and shouted at the kitchen and waiters. I ordered two special side dishes, wild vegetables and fried eggs, Hubei-style spicy tofu, and asked for a bowl of rice. The wild vegetables in the fried eggs were very refreshing and appetizing, and the spicy tofu could be described as a good dish for rice. Although the rice was not high-quality rice, it was indeed unique after being mixed with the spicy tofu. I finished a bowl in no time. The simple shop does have its own way of survival.
