Liuchixiang, located in the southwest corner of Tongcheng City, Anhui Province, is 100 meters long and 2 meters wide. It was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1662-1722). There are stone archways at both ends of the alley, with the words &quot;courtesy&quot; engraved on them.
Historical records show that there was a vacant land next to the residence of Zhang Wenduan, which was adjacent to the Wu family, and the Wu family used it. The family sent a letter to the capital, and the public reviewed the letter and sent it back. After the family received the letter, they retreated three feet, so Liuchixiang was named after it.
Liuchixiang starts from Xihoujie Lane in the east and ends at Baizitang in the west. The south of the alley is the Prime Minister Zhang Ying&#39;s residence, and the north of the alley is the Wu family&#39;s residence. It is 100 meters long and 2 meters wide, all paved with cobblestones. The main buildings of &quot;Liuchixiang&quot; include the alley, the &quot;courtesy&quot; stone archway on the east side and the &quot;Yi De Liu Fang&quot; stone archway on the west side, the leisure square, the poetry and painting screen wall, the rockery stone, etc.
​ There are few scenic spots in Liuchixiang at present, and you can visit it in more than ten minutes. However, Zhang Mansion and Wu Mansion and other scenic spots are currently being rebuilt, and it will be a large scenic spot in the future. There are also Confucian Temples and museums around.

The white jade archway stands in the Prime Minister&#39;s Mansion in the scenic area. On the tall Hui-style white marble archway, &quot;Yi De Liu Fang&quot; is vigorous and powerful. Passing through the archway, you will come to the black stone screen wall. The front is engraved with the figures of Liuchixiang, and the back is an introduction to Zhang Ying&#39;s life.
Taihu Stone:
Going around the screen wall, you can see a piece of Taihu stone, on which is Zhang Ying&#39;s poem engraved, &quot;I came a thousand miles to write just for the wall, so what if I let him three feet? The Great Wall is still here, but Qin Shihuang is no longer here.&quot;
Six-foot Alley:
Six-foot Alley is located in front of Taihu Stone. The alley is not long, only 100 meters and 2 meters wide. The road is made of blue bricks and black tiles, and camphor trees are planted on both sides of the wall. It is straight and deep, and has a sense of history. Standing in the alley, a picture scroll flows in front of you. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, the Zhang family was by the south wall and the Wu family was by the north wall. The two families argued over the homestead and gave in to each other... Now, the Zhang and Wu families are gone, and only the alley is full of trees.
