A time-honored Hunan restaurant recommended by a friend. The medals and old photos on the wall tell its history. The prices of the dishes are very reasonable, and there is no tourist attraction scam. Overall, every dish tastes really good. You must order the blood duck and bacon fern. Some local wild vegetables are also delicious. Duck feet and ground fungus are all seasonal dishes. I also ordered sour soup fish, which is very original and delicious. It is worth recommending!

The Ambassador Hotel is a good restaurant in Fenghuang. It has pure and authentic Xiangxi flavors, unique characteristics, a good environment, and reasonable prices. It does not overcharge customers, and the service attitude is good and enthusiastic.

Generally speaking, it's OK. It's very famous, but the quaint restaurant's appearance is still very distinctive. The dishes are basically Xiangxi specialties. I recommend the blood-braised duck, which is delicious and not spicy at all. The blood-braised duck is very tasty. There are also sour soup fish and hand-shredded cabbage. The price is not cheap

I just arrived in Phoenix today. I went to Ambassador Hotel by myself and ordered small shrimps. After chatting with the boss, I learned that they were fresh shrimps from the nearby river. They looked small, but after adding chili peppers, shallots and shredded ginger, the slightly spicy flavor was unmatched by sea shrimps. It was delicious. The bacon in the bracken was chewy, which was good.

It's great! Located in the heart of Fenghuang Ancient Town, the decor is comfortable, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. Most importantly, the food is just what I wanted, and the prices are very reasonable. You absolutely must try their signature dishes when you go!
