The taste is really needless to say, very delicious, quite authentic, really yyds
Good news for glutinous rice lovers, it is really delicious, soft and glutinous, not too sweet
It's all about eating [facepalm] Although it's not a tourist destination, it's still a great place for a relaxing day of eating and drinking! Recommended accommodation: Downtown Recommended transportation: Drive/High-speed rail Tips: Fangye Courtyard ➡️Tongshan Bridge ➡️Ding Culture Park ➡️Yujing Village 1. Fangye Courtyard is right near the highway exit for Fuding City. It's a wall with the word "Fuding" on it, so don't bother going there if you don't want to take a photo. 2. There's a riverside park under Tongshan Bridge, a great place for Fuding locals to enjoy a relaxing stroll. It's truly a relaxing stroll. Keep walking until you reach the end, and you'll see Ding Culture Park. This is Fuding's iconic large tripod, steeped in history and culture. Surrounded by green hills, it's a prime Feng Shui location. If you have time, stop by and soak up some good luck! 3. Fuding's food scene is very convenient, mainly concentrated in a few nearby streets: Back Street: Back Street Specialty Snacks (P20 scallion pancakes, frosted taro), Agong Pork Slices (P16), Lao Yunci (P17), Fang Ji Cross Street Chuanchuan (P18) South Gate: Theater Tofu Pudding (P14), next to Dingpei Pork Slices (P15), Chu Chi, and Chu Yulian Chicken Wings North Market: Dai Ji Ding Bian Hu (P11), Beishi Market Beef Balls (P12), Huang Shengxiang Herbal Tea (P13) Pork slices and chicken wings are my two favorites, so I tried four of them: Pork slice ranking: Agong > Ashan > Dingpei > Ayong Agong is the most popular of the three restaurants and, in my opinion, the best. Their chicken wings are also worth checking out! Chicken Wings Ranking: Chu Yulian > Dingpei > Chu Chi > Beishi Market Beef Balls I highly recommend Chu Yulian (P20); they're absolutely amazing! If I had to choose only one, I'd definitely go for it! If you're lucky enough to get one fresh from the oven, it's even better! I personally think the taro cakes at Lao Yunci are better than the ones in Quanzhou. The staff told me they're low in sugar, which is why I didn't find them greasy. I kept wanting more! This is just my personal opinion! Fuding is so delicious! I'll be back next time! #LocalDelicious #TryAuthenticOldBoutiques #LocalSpecialSnacks #FudingTravelGuide #WhereToGoThisWeekend
For weekend trips around Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, Fuding is a must-try. 🥂🥂 🚅🚅 It's accessible by high-speed rail, affordable, and packed with delicious food. It's a great place to eat without rushing to see the sights. 📍About eating: Fuding pork slices are a must-try! We found some random places near the hotel that were all delicious. We tried the mixed meat slices and the pork tendon and pork slices, and I recommend the Ashan meat slices. 1️⃣ North Market: There's so much to eat around here, from braised food to herbal tea to fish balls. It's a great place to wander and eat without any disappointments. I didn't go to the meat slice shop to join in the fun. North Market Beef Balls🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: The beef balls were generously filled and chewy, highly recommended. North Market Guobianhu🌟🌟🌟: A local breakfast specialty, light and affordable, worth a try. Backstreet Specialty Snacks🌟🌟🌟: There are so many varieties you can try if you're new to them. Lao Yunci🌟🌟🌟: I bought taro cakes and other items as souvenirs to take home. Wu Ji Pan-fried Buns🌟🌟🌟🌟: The pan-fried buns and meat dumplings were both delicious. - Laoxiang Almond Tofu 🌟🌟🌟: Stopped by for a bowl and it was pretty good, a bit sweet. - Anai 🌟🌟🌟🌟: The place is easy to find, with a wide variety to choose from. Overall, it's pretty good, a great late-night snack. The pork head and chicken rack are sour and sweet, highly recommended. We also ordered the fried oysters because we liked them, and they were perfect. The snails were all quite fresh, so you can order whatever you like. - Yirong Seafood Stall 🌟🌟🌟🌟: We went there before the fishing ban, and the seafood was authentic. I asked the driver, and he said locals also come here to eat. You absolutely have to try the taro rice; we both devoured it. The stir-fried squid wasn't very good, though. There's so much to eat here, and I highly recommend exploring on your own. The seafood noodles I had on the roadside were delicious. The morning we left Fuding, we stopped by a random noodle shop. The noodles and a bowl of soup (there are so many options, be sure to try them) were only a few yuan. I also bought some pork and duck eggs at the market to take home. It was a truly wonderful city experience. #I'll Cover the Beautiful Rivers and Mountains #Local Cuisine #FujianTravel #Fuding
