They're really getting me! I recently checked in again at Mekong Rainforest Restaurant, and the food is incredible! The signature Tom Yum Goong soup (small portion) is Thailand's most famous soup! It's got that spicy and sour taste, and it's very rich, with notes of coconut milk, lemongrass, ginger, garlic, and a blend of spices. The Sukhothai grilled pork neck has a smoky aroma and is tender and juicy. The Thai barbecue sauce is sweet and spicy, and the flavor is quite rich! The Bangkok Golden Wrapped Omelette is a Thai version of scrambled eggs, with corn inside, which makes it more tender and flavorful! The Chaiyaphum mixed vegetables have the flavors of Thai curry and coconut milk, and the vegetables are really fresh! Song Danqing's papaya salad is refreshing, paired with lemon juice and fish sauce, making it a classic Thai salad. Finally, I ordered the jasmine rice; the grains were exceptionally plump and slightly sweet. I can truly feel at ease here; I'm sure you'll enjoy a feast for your taste buds! Mekong Rainforest Restaurant 🥰I've been wanting to eat at the White House restaurants every day, so today I followed the celebrities' lead and visited Mekong Rainforest Restaurant. It's truly stunning! 🌴Large white birdcages, nestled in a row by the river amidst tropical greenery, offer breathtaking views overlooking the river. 🍽️Today I ordered Thai-style charcoal-grilled pork neck. The meat was tender, juicy, and delicious with the dipping sauce. 🦐The stir-fried porcini mushrooms, with a variety of fresh spices, brought out their flavor, were absolutely delicious. ☕️We bought a group order of tri-color mango sticky rice, which I can enjoy as dessert. I also had an American iced coffee and a delicate pau ruta. 💁🏻‍♀️Those of you who like this place should definitely check it out. The night view is truly stunning!
