Near Hankou Railway Station, there were only a few people eating at the buffet breakfast. Hot dry noodles are a must, a specialty of Wuhan. They taste better than the mixed noodles sold outside. There are not many other varieties. The fruits include watermelon and sweet orange, which I like. The environment and seats are also a bit old.

During the Qingming Festival, we went to the Yellow River Three Gorges in Jiyuan. On the first day, we stayed in the city of Jiyuan because of traffic jams. We found a stewed pot city, which is said to be a traditional food in the northwest of Henan. The stewed pot is similar to the casserole dishes in Wuzhi, but it is different. The stewed pot uses a pottery jar as a container, with a peculiar shape. The shape can be traced back to the Han Dynasty. It is stewed for a long time, retaining the original flavor of the ingredients, and the soup is rich and not greasy. We asked for crispy meat, mushrooms and ribs, and a few side dishes, accompanied by pancakes with dipping sauce, and almost walked out with the wall.

A serving of pancakes with dipping sauce is 8 yuan, and a separate pancake is 3 yuan. After eating, go to the scenic spot the next day and take a pancake + sauce. It is many times better than eating instant noodles in the scenic spot.

The innovative ones are wild mushroom pot and tofu Xishi pot, which combine local mountain delicacies and soy products to show regional characteristics. However, to be on the safe side, we ordered the three common ones, which was really a bit regrettable. Fortunately, Jiyuan is not far from Zhengzhou. I asked the boss and he said that there is also a branch in Erqi, Zhengzhou, but it is definitely not as authentic as the local one, so I have to come again next time.
