Xinrenren is a very old Cantonese restaurant in Kunming. It has been open for more than 20 years and has maintained good business, so the taste is not too bad.
The dishes we ordered this time were generally good, but the signature roast goose was not up to standard, the skin was not crispy enough, and the meat was very soft and even hard to chew! The fried beef noodles were the best, the rice noodles were chewy and the beef was very tender; the coconut roasted chicken was also good, the skin was fragrant and the meat was tenderer than expected; the filling of the lava bun was good, but the fluidity was a little poor; the durian pastry and silk stocking milk tea were average, without any highlights.
Because it is an old restaurant, the decoration is old, and the menu is also shabby, which does not match the grade of the restaurant. It should be better to upgrade the environment.
