万厨娘卤味美食A new culinary discovery in Libo! These braised dishes are so delicious! 🔥
Besides the beautiful scenery, the most surprising thing about visiting Libo, Guizhou, was the braised food! I especially enjoyed the iconic "Wan Chu Niang" brand. I highly recommend it to everyone!
1⃣ Wan Chu Niang Braised Meat Restaurant (Central City Branch)
📍Entrance of Building 8, Central City, Enming Road, Libo County
Their signature braised food platter is incredibly generous! It includes beef, pig ears, dried tofu, and more, each braised to perfection. The best part is, it's not salty at all, with a subtle sweetness to the braised aroma. The cucumber garnish is a perfect counterpoint to the greasiness. The restaurant is small but spotless, and the owner is incredibly welcoming.
2⃣ Wan Chu Niang Braised Meat Restaurant (Banji Main Branch)
📍Directly across from the front gate of Tailong Xiyuan, Zhangjiang West Road, Libo County
The crispy charcoal-grilled duck at this main branch is incredible! The skin is crispy, the meat is incredibly tender, and the secret sauce is just the right amount of sweet and salty, without being greasy at all. There's also a wide selection of local braised dishes, and the cold-mixed pig's trotters and braised chicken feet are highly recommended! The decor is simple yet cozy, making it feel like dining at a neighbor's house.
Tips:
Both restaurants have their own unique characteristics, so I highly recommend trying them! The braised dishes can be taken away as snacks, perfect for taking to Xiaoqikong. The Banji branch is especially busy in the afternoon, so it's recommended to visit during off-peak hours.

Today's Recommendation: Libo Ancient Town (3A) Today, we recommend Libo Ancient Town, a National 3A-level tourist attraction and one of the third batch of national-level tourist and leisure districts. Here's a brief introduction: - Basic Information: Located on Caiyuan Road, Nanmenba, Jianshe Village, Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, it covers 1,099 mu (approximately 1,000,000 square meters) and has a building area of approximately 1 million square meters. Admission is free and open 24/7. - History and Culture: Reconstructed on the site of the original Libo Stone City, Libo Ancient Town continues to recreate the history and culture of the Libo Stone City during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. Its architectural style reflects the Hui style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, featuring small bridges and flowing water typical of Jiangnan water towns. It also incorporates ethnic customs from the Buyi, Shui, Miao, and Yao peoples. - Food Recommendations: The ancient town's food court offers a variety of dishes, including grilled fish with tofu pudding, local cuisine restaurants, private dishes, and beef restaurants, satisfying every palate. #LiboAncientTown #WhereToGoForNationalDay #GuizhouTravel #LiboTravel
🍗Libo's braised food is the height of luxury! These two braised meat restaurants have me swooning over the delicious flavors! Besides the scenery, the most impressive thing about visiting this picturesque city of Libo is the braised food! Especially at Wan Chu Niang and Wan Chu Niang, every dish makes me salivate! 📍Wan Chu Niang Braised Meat Restaurant (Zhongyangcheng Branch) 🚩Entrance of Building 8, Zhongyangcheng, Enming Road, Libo County 🌟Signature Must-Try: Wan Chu Niang Braised Meat Platter 🕒Opening Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM This restaurant is right in front of Building 8, Zhongyangcheng. Their braised meat platter is absolutely amazing! The rich aroma of the braised meat hits the table, and the braised duck wings, chicken feet, and tofu are all incredibly flavorful. I really want to take the marinade to go! The best part is that their braised food isn't overly salty, leaving you completely thirsty. It's perfect with beer! 📍Wan Chu Niang Braised Food Restaurant (Banji Main Branch) 🚩Directly across from the front gate of Tailong Xiyuan, Zhangjiang West Road, Libo County 🌟Signature Must-Try: Crispy Charcoal-Grilled Duck 🕒Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM This main branch is in Banji. While a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth the trip! Their crispy charcoal-grilled duck truly amazed me—the skin was incredibly crispy, yet the meat wasn't at all tough and bursting with juice! A big reminder: eat it hot; the skin won't be crispy if it gets cold. The portion is also generous; half a duck is enough for 3-4 people. 💡 Tips: 1. The Central City location is more convenient, but the main Banji branch has a more distinctive roast duck. 2. You can choose the spiciness level for the braised food platter; remember to ask when ordering. 3. Both locations are very popular, so expect to see lines during mealtimes. One bite of Libo braised food is unforgettable; this taste bud memory will definitely keep me coming back! #LiboFood #GuizhouBroiledFood #Must-EatCheck-In #FoodExploration #WanChef
A must-try in Libo! ️ Highly recommended by locals! 🦆 When visiting Libo, don't miss this hidden gem of a braised food shop. They specialize in authentic Mallard duck, and even locals line up to buy it! It's a fantastic souvenir! 🏠Wan Chu Niang Braised Food Restaurant 📍In Libo County (please ask local residents for the exact location) 🕒Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM 💰Average Price: Approximately 100 RMB per duck 🌟Highlights: 1⃣️Using locally raised free-range Mallard ducks, they are naturally fed a diet of corn, millet, sweet potatoes, and mugwort, resulting in a firm, non-greasy texture. 2⃣️Our secret marinade, passed down through generations, ensures each duck is incredibly flavorful. 3⃣️Buy, cut, and vacuum-packed, making it a perfect souvenir. 📝Authentic Experience: The duck is exceptionally clean, and the marinade is rich and flavorful without being overly salty. I especially love the duck wings and neck; they're incredibly satisfying! It's best to buy the whole duck for a better deal, and ask the owner to cut and pack it for you. The vacuum packaging keeps it fresh for 2-3 days, and it's still incredibly delicious even when reheated at home. ✨Tips: I recommend going in the morning, as they might be sold out by the afternoon. The store also offers vacuum packaging, which is really thoughtful. Each duck, weighing about 5 jin, is enough for 3-4 people to share. #LiboFood #GuizhouSpecialties #SouvenirRecommendations #LocalSpecialties #BraisedFoodStoreExplore
