The Master of Lijiang(Restaurant)

This Yunnan restaurant strikes the perfect balance between a lively atmosphere and authentic flavors! The warm yellow lighting and wooden decor create a cozy and quiet ambiance; it's bustling during mealtimes but never crowded. My favorites are the stir-fried beef with chili oil and the stir-fried mushrooms—they're so good with rice!! They even thoughtfully provided rose tea 🍵

While strolling through Lijiang Old Town, I found this restaurant on Dianping (a Chinese review platform). The restaurant had a great ambiance, the owner was incredibly welcoming, and the service was very attentive. The environment was lovely, and the price was very reasonable. We ordered Lijiang's signature cured pork ribs, snow mountain blackfish, and black tofu with a crispy skin, and the two of us couldn't finish it all. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'll definitely visit this restaurant again and highly recommend it!

The restaurant is easy to find, the food comes out very quickly, every dish is delicious, the tea is also very good and fragrant, the service is very attentive, and the ambiance and decor are excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant; I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Lijiang.

This restaurant is near the hotel where we stayed. It is quite popular. We had our last meal in Lijiang here! After visiting Mufu in the morning, we ate a bait block and then came to the restaurant for dinner. We only ordered two dishes. The black-bone chicken is sour and spicy, and the side dishes are bamboo shoots and onions. The onion tastes a bit like sour radish. I couldn’t taste it at first, haha. The copper pot snow mountain fish is tender and smooth, sour and spicy, and goes well with rice. The waiter also brought us butter tea. It was the first time I drank butter tea. At first, I thought I would not be able to adapt to it. After taking a sip, I found that it was really delicious. I will order it myself in the future. The environment is great and the service is also great.

Lijiang is a solemn and old ancient city. In the ancient city under the moonlight, a glance back is like a dream back to Lijiang thousands of years ago. The love story of the prince of western Yunnan is vivid in my mind, leaving behind so much love. The Prince of Western Yunnan - Dreaming back to Lijiang, inheriting the taste of a hundred years, is such a restaurant, pursuing not only the deliciousness of Lijiang, but also the long-standing legend of this ancient city.   The bamboo shoot chicken of the Haang and Deang ethnic groups is a national specialty, a famous bamboo shoot chicken, the bamboo shoot fragrance penetrates into the sweet chicken fiber, rich taste, juicy and flavorful.   The Yi ethnic group braised black goat, the local black goat raised in the wild, the meat is firm and firm, without a trace of excess fat, removing the smell of sheep, full of chewiness, the more you eat, the more delicious it is!   Antique dining atmosphere, open space, spacious tables and chairs. Every diner seemed to be amazed by the wonderful prince culture of western Yunnan. It was quiet and not noisy, and they savored every bite with their heart.

I lined up for a while at the entrance of the internet celebrity store, but the tables were turned over quickly and I was able to get in after a while. "Toast copper pot snow mountain fish" The sour taste is very refreshing, the fish is very tender, and you can also drink the soup. "Wild mushrooms by Lugu Lake" My favorite dish, very chewy wild mushrooms, the mushrooms are very fresh "Braised beef tenderloin wrapped in banana leaves" Because my family doesn't eat spicy food, they specially changed it for us to be non-spicy. The beef has a very tender texture, and the elderly can also eat it "Rose brown sugar meatballs" This is a must-order for every table. The filling in each ball is different, soft and not very sweet. For people who love sweets, it is not to be missed [Service] The service attitude is very good, the service awareness is very strong, and peach blossom wine is also given. This is the most delicious restaurant I have come to Lijiang.

This was one of the more satisfying meals I had in Yunnan. The passion fruit fish slices were quite mild, suitable for those who don't eat spicy food. The colorful potato slices in the cured pork ribs were crispy, and there was a small salad on the side. I highly recommend the Jianshui tofu; it's black and delicious! 😋😋😋 The tamarind tea at the restaurant was very good, refreshing and not greasy, and the rose tea was also very nice. Both were delicious.

It was so delicious! I was so happy! The mushroom soup was incredibly delicious, every bite was amazing! It's truly a delicacy for Cantonese people! So fresh!! The fish was sour and spicy, super appetizing and went really well with rice. The spare ribs were also delicious!! The portion was so generous that two people couldn't finish it at all! The service lady was also incredibly friendly and thoughtful, offering us tips on how to get the best deal. She even gave us several cups of delicious tea and drinks. Absolutely delicious!
