Songtsam Linka Hotel Lijiang is located in Ciman Village, Huangshan Town, far away from the city in the west of Lijiang. It is a traditional village inhabited by the Naxi people. During the Tea Horse Road period, this was the first stop to enter Lijiang, and the caravans often rested here. Now, old Naxi houses can still be seen everywhere. The age is unknown, perhaps more than a hundred years old. The traditional Naxi life is still continued here. In the evening, the clear and far-reaching, powder blue sky, the four-stringed ukulele on the telephone pole, silent, is the best movement. 🌲The village is surrounded by a pine forest and a pear orchard. Ciman Village is famous for its pears. In March, the village is full of pear blossoms. In the backyard of the guest room, you can also see such vigorous and old branches and green leaves of Ciman pear trees, which are mature in September.   🏠Lijiang Linka combines the characteristics of Naxi village courtyards and Central Plains official buildings, with the Tang Dynasty Central Plains architectural style as the main feature, and the layout of the traditional Naxi courtyard. The interior is decorated with Tibetan carpets and Chinese paintings, plus six windows in Naxi style. Stone carvings can be seen everywhere, they come from Huangshan, Anhui, the representative of Hui style architecture, and Henan, where many ancient capitals of the Central Plains were born.   ❤Lijiang is a multi-ethnic settlement dominated by the Naxi people. The eating habits of surrounding areas gather here, which also makes the local food taste of Lijiang blend with the surrounding characteristics. In spring, we eat wild vegetables and flowers, in summer, there are mushrooms, and in autumn, the fruits and vegetables of Lashi Lake are ripe, which also enriches the dining table of Lijiang Linka. 👅The restaurant’s dishes are mainly Lijiang specialty hot pot, Naxi traditional dishes and other representative Yunnan dishes, including Lijiang cured pork ribs hot pot, stir-fried Podocarpus needles, scrambled eggs with bitter thorn flowers, crabapple ribs, lemon-scented sea cauliflower, copper pot stewed rice, mixed chicken bean jelly, etc...   💁🏻‍♂️When checking in, we enjoyed welcome tea and biscuits in the Western restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast was eaten in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. We ordered the optional meals at the front desk the day before and supplemented them in the restaurant the next day. But we caught up with the full buffet on both days, and had a rich meal, from local-style rice noodles, eggs, and rice noodles, to steamed pastries, coffee, milk, soy milk, honey grapefruit tea, fruits, yogurt, Western pastries...
