During the 8-day long holiday of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, we drove to East Guangdong to visit relatives and friends. On the first day, we experienced the first traffic jam on the highway (the original 2.5-hour drive was stuck in traffic for 10 hours). On the second day, we found out that we had encountered the most congested place in the country. It was already early in the morning when we arrived in Lufeng. We checked into the hotel and went to sleep. The next day, a friend recommended "People's Building" as a specialty store for the taste of many Lufeng people's food. It has a full range of varieties and everything. When we entered the store, the full Lufeng characteristics attracted us. We ordered pancakes, freshly fried fresh meat glutinous rice, smiling meat dumplings, five-fruit tea, braised rice noodles... Different from other places, although they are all in Guangdong, they still have their own local flavors and you can go and taste them.
