老厨房饭庄

The hotel we booked was right next to the restaurant. We were planning to walk to the fountain to find a restaurant (to see the fountain), but we ended up walking into this restaurant because the waiter stopped us enthusiastically. We asked what they had, and ordered a few home-cooked dishes and a few bowls of noodles. The noodles were served first. The thickness of the noodles was not good, and the taste was average. There was no vinegar (just our personal taste, if you don't like vinegar, it should be okay). The sweet and sour pork tenderloin that came later was mushy, and the taste was really not good, because I personally made this dish at home, and I know how hard it is and how it tastes best (I am just an amateur). Then the kidney was fried so hard that it was bitter, and the egg soup was also watery. Anyway, my family is authentic Shaanxi people, and I really think these common dishes taste very average. These comments are just personal opinions. The waiter is still very warm and hospitable. Anyway, it's up to you whether you want to eat it or not. If you feel that their food is not quite to your taste, you can go to eat across from the fountain. We ate there the night before and it was really good. Except that the barbecued meat flavor was a little hard to taste, the Yipinxiang and sauerkraut noodles were still very good.
