明湖餐廳

This is a restaurant near Sun Moon Lake. The fish soup there is really good. This kind of wild lake fish is basically not available in Shanghai. The vegetables are all good, and the local grilled sausages are good.

It's easy to find. It's a big restaurant on a rather shabby street. The food is home-cooked, with mostly stews. The stir-fries don't seem to be particularly authentic. It's quite crowded at noon.

I just came in to eat a bowl of noodles and a small dish. We were a tour group and had no interest in eating properly. The dishes ordered by others seemed average, at least the presentation was not what I liked, and the price was average.

I ate at this restaurant when I was visiting the famous street. It seemed OK, but the taste was not good enough, and the food didn't look very good. It wasn't very delicious.

I live near the Shuishe Pier. It is said to be an old shop. I don't recommend President Rain. It is steamed white fish, and only half of it. I like its pig's trotters, which are stewed very well and not oily. The large intestine tofu is also delicious, slightly spicy, especially with rice.
