Nanyang Food Recommendations 🌟🌟 Every time I go to the government office, I never know what to eat. I always end up eating the same few dishes. A few days ago, I saw this maocai (stuffed pork belly) place and decided to try it. ❤️‍🔥 It's on the second floor, across from Zhengxin Chicken Steak in the middle of the government office. They have maopipi maotihua maocai. A 2-person 🧑‍🧒 meal of tripe, tenderloin, and beef tripe is 48, perfectly sufficient for two people. It's delicious, a bit spicy, and needs a cold drink. It goes really well with rice! The bottom layer is filled with various vegetarian dishes, and you can even add instant noodles to it for a delicious dip! The pig's trotters are 25, tender and boneless, and dipped in the sauce is absolutely amazing! 🌮Jiangnan Tribute Cake🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Let me see who hasn't tried this incredibly delicious tribute cake at Fuya. It's a must-try every time I visit Fuya Snack Street! It's always so popular, and the lines are always long!!! I'm surprised I've had it so many times, but I never recommended it. I highly recommend the preserved vegetable tribute cake. It's the best right out of the oven! Crispy and crumbly, with preserved vegetable and sesame filling inside, it's incredibly fragrant. 💰6r/piece 🍧Taro Paste Ice Glutinous Rice Balls🌟🌟🌟 When I went there, a child was tending the stall. I was surprised at how savory he was at such a young age. They offer a wide variety of toppings, including oatmeal, taro paste, hawthorn, sesame seeds, red beans, milk powder, coconut flakes, grapes, watermelon, dragon fruit, and more. However, as is common with small stalls, the fruit isn't very fresh. 💰10r/portion 📍In front of Fu Ya Casa Mia 🥔Wolf Tooth Potatoes🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I've been eating here since junior high, and the flavors are still familiar. You can choose your favorite flavor; sweet and sour and spicy are recommended. Search for "potato" on the map to find it. 🥧Daydream Snow Yogurt🌟🌟🌟🌟 They have many branches, so you can choose one near you. You don't have to go all the way to Fu Ya. I bought mine at the Zhongda branch. The ice cream maker was super nice and gentle. She even gave us some fruit to keep us waiting. The stir-fried chicken with mung bean paste and ice-cold stuffed dumplings was delicious. The bean paste was smooth, the dumplings were soft and chewy, and the portion was generous. 🫕 Spicy Hot and Spicy Soup: Yang Xiaoye Spicy Soup, Chengjifu Spicy Soup 🍖 BBQ: Ningxiangyuan in Wancheng District 🥡 Restaurants: Dali Braised Pork in Neixiang, Guoyuan Pot Stickers 🍜 Noodles: Fat Brothers Potato Noodles 🌯 Late-night Snack: Authentic Shaomai, a Zhoukou specialty 🍣 Snacks: The old-fashioned Changsha Stinky Tofu and Fuya also have a wide variety of snacks. The above restaurants are all long-established. 😍 We always make sure to try them when we go back, and we never forget Nanyang. I personally think Nanyang has so much delicious food!
