Locals head to the market early in the morning to pick the freshest fish, so arriving before noon is recommended. 2⃣ Yi Family Black Goat ➡️ The best mutton hotpot in Qiubei 📍 Near the parking lot of Puzhehei Scenic Area A must-try after climbing Qinglong Mountain! The skin-on black goat meat is cooked to tender perfection in a copper pot. The special dipping sauce uses local chili powder, mint, and Sichuan peppercorns. A perfect accompaniment to mint tea and a bite of lamb! 50 yuan per person, enough to eat until you're leaning against the wall. 3⃣ Zhuangjia Flower Rice ➡️ A colorful ethnic specialty 📍 Shuanglongying Town Market Glutinous rice, naturally dyed with wild flowers and fruits, comes in five colors: purple, yellow, red, black, and white. Steamed fresh, it's fragrant. The purple (dyed with butterfly pea flowers) and yellow (dyed with Buddleja buddha) varieties are highly recommended; they're slightly sweet and have a subtle floral aroma. 4⃣ Sour Soup Rice Noodles ➡️ A local breakfast favorite 📍 In the alley next to Jiaolian Square This 20-year-old shop specializes in brunch. Their sour soup is made with naturally fermented tomatoes and paired with Qiubei's unique thin rice noodles. Be sure to add a spoonful of chili oil and mint for a refreshing, sour, and refreshing start to the day! In Puzhehei!!! Stumbled upon a paradise! Right next to the Hei Village Bridge in the Puzhehei Scenic Area! Absolutely delicious!!! This restaurant is in a perfect location, right next to the lotus pond. The atmosphere is simply stunning and cozy! Lotus Cake This incredibly beautiful pastry, shaped like lotus leaves, lotus flowers, and lotus roots, is actually made from mung bean cake and topped with dried cranberries. It's sweet but not cloying, and even I, who don't like sweets, managed to win over several. Lotus Leaf Chicken A whole chicken wrapped in lotus leaves and steamed is tender and juicy, with a subtle lotus fragrance. You tear it apart yourself before eating and toss it with chili oil. This time, I stepped into a picturesque lotus banquet, a breath of fresh air in the summer, truly a breath of fresh air! Entering the restaurant, it felt like stepping into a pond awash with blooming lotuses, a vibrant interweaving of green and pink. It was as if I could hear the chirping of summer cicadas and the gentle breeze rustling through the lotus leaves. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of lotus flowers, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility. The dishes arrived, and I was even more amazed! Each dish cleverly incorporated elements of the lotus, creating a vibrant and delicious experience. It felt as if every bite could savour the freshness and sweetness of summer. The lotus cake was particularly outstanding, with a sweet yet not greasy filling – a perfect fusion of deliciousness and artistry! The restaurant's atmosphere was also fantastic! The lotus blossoms adorned the dining room, creating a romantic dreamscape. Sharing delicious food with friends while chatting about life was truly relaxing! Overall, the Lotus Banquet experience was truly fantastic! The flavors of the dishes, the restaurant's ambiance, and the unique summer feeling were all unforgettable.
