Hai Kuo Tian Kong Tai Restaurant

Last April, I chose to stay at the Bird's Nest Hotel for one day during my Sanya trip. Our Dayan room was just opposite the Thai restaurant. The kids had too much fun in the afternoon. When we went to the restaurant, the sky was dark and we could only see the lights of Sanya Yalong Bay. The seats on the cliff were full. The waiter was very nice and helped us put the seats together to make a small bed for the baby. I ordered two dishes that I thought were cost-effective. The "Curry Beef Brisket" was especially suitable for bibimbap. The curry with coconut milk was particularly rich and the beef brisket was crispy and soft. The "Curry Seafood Risotto" had seafood and curry, and the whole pumpkin shell was edible. It was very cost-effective. There were also resident singers in the restaurant, and the whole atmosphere was superb.

Located in the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, the restaurant's location does have a nice view, especially the tables outside. The dishes include Thai and Chinese food. The Thai food tasted quite authentic, but I didn't really like the flavor. The waiters were nice.

The biggest feature of this restaurant is that it has a long corridor where you can see the mountain view and the sunset. I don’t know the price because we bought a set meal, but the service and taste are really good.

The environment here is very good. The park does not charge admission after 17:30. I called the restaurant and they sent a car to pick me up. When I got to the top of the mountain, I was just in time to enjoy the sunset. It was great to overlook the night view of Yalong Bay. The Thai food here is worth tasting. The small portion of Tom Yum Goong soup is enough for 5 people. The 7 dishes we ordered were just enough for 5 people. The seafood rice is recommended.

We called ahead to reserve an outdoor seat. It's the best spot. You can see the beautiful sunset. The food is pretty good. The portions are generous. There are also resident singers in the evening. There is a service charge. We spent a little over 1,000 for three adults and one child. Of course, we had too much food in the restaurant.

The restaurant is quite far from the Genting area where I live, so I need to call a taxi in advance. Maybe because I arrived early in the evening, I sat directly on the balcony with the best view. The taste of the dishes is generally good, and the price is reasonable, but they are basically a bit salty. It is really pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset while eating. The service level of the waiters needs to be improved. It may be that there are not enough people and they are too busy. I can always hear the complaints of the guests around because of the slow serving or missed dishes.

The environment is great. Sitting in the seats near the corridor, you can directly see the sea view of Yalong Bay and the tree house on the mountain. The taste is also good. The Tom Yum Goong soup is the best. I like the lemongrass taste in it. After eating, the staff arranged a car to take us to the large battery car station. We toured the scenic area without rushing or slowing down. It was a good day.

The taste is neither good nor bad: Tom Yum Goong is too spicy. Conch and shrimp are delicious. The seafood vermicelli is sour and sweet and also very good. The scallops are a bit too dry and salty. In short, it is not surprising or disappointing. But on the other hand, the environment is very good. You can make an appointment for a balcony seat in advance to have a good view. The singer's accompaniment is also very relaxing.
