Finding a relaxing, healing coffee shop to unwind, soak up the sun, and unwind is an essential part of my travel itinerary. This time, it's the Black Bean Coffee Shop. Address: No. 10, Xiaxue Group, Jiefang Village, Wuyi Highway (on the Napa Lake Ring Road). You can only enter after ordering. The coffee shop is a ranch-style establishment with a large lawn facing Napa Lake. Plants float on the water, and watching the autumn green matcha-colored lake while sipping coffee is incredibly pleasant. There are also guesthouses available, and a roastery next door. The place is very spacious, with alpacas and prayer flags perfect for taking photos. Except for the coffee being a little pricey, everything else is great. I've rented a piece of grassland in Napahai. I was awakened by the sunlight outside my window each morning. The view was picturesque. Sheep and horses roamed the grasslands. Experiencing ranch life for a few days in Napahai truly embodies the saying: "Life shouldn't be wasted in places like this!" The famous Black Bean Coffee is right next to the hotel, a 3-minute walk away. Upon check-in, they even gave me a complimentary afternoon tea with Black Bean Coffee. Traveling to Shangri-La during off-peak hours gave me unforgettable memories. The perfect sun shone on the Golden Mountain, and the uncrowded Dukezong Ancient Town—no need to wait for an hour for a photo spot. In autumn, the snow hadn't yet begun to fall in Shangri-La, so the sun wasn't too cold when it came out. I was able to enjoy the autumn scenery and the snow-capped mountains. I highly recommend it. [Three-Day Itinerary] Day 1: Songzanlin Temple - Large Prayer Flags - Napahai Alpine Botanical Garden - Black Bean Coffee Shop Day 2: Depart from Napahai - Via Baima Snow Mountain (Old Road) - Meili Wunongding Day 3: Meili - Xueda Lake - Dukezong Ancient Town [Photo Shooting Spots] ❶ Morning Mist at Songzanlin Temple: Navigate to "Da Ri" (Da Ri). Check the weather that morning before setting off, and a telephoto lens will be required. ❷ Large Prayer Flags: Navigate to the Judicial Bureau or Public Security Bureau of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, which is across the road. Entrance fee: 9r. The large prayer flags are huge and the colors are stunning. You can set aside an hour to take photos here, but it's recommended to visit in the morning when there are fewer people. ❸Napahai: Napahai is a vast wetland. Navigate to the Alpine Botanical Garden to capture the first photo. It's recommended to visit in the afternoon when the light is less strong. ❹Black Bean Coffee House: Navigate to Black Bean Coffee House. There's a large lawn perfect for photos, and there are many small animals to pose for pictures with. However, the coffee is average and a bit pricey, so you're paying for the view. ❺From Napahai to Meili, it's recommended to take the old road. You'll pass Baima Snow Mountain along the way. The scenery is beautiful, and the stops along the way will make time pass quickly. ❻There are many vantage points for photographing Meili Snow Mountain. I chose to stay in Wunongding so I could see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain from my room. Xueda Lake is the only place in Shangri-La where you can see the reflection of the Thirteen Peaks of Meili. The scenery is stunning. The drive from Wunongding takes about six hours, mostly on mountain roads. Driving or renting a car is recommended. During the rainy season (June-August), some sections of the road can be muddy, so an SUV is recommended. 2. At an altitude of 3,300 meters, excessive coffee consumption is advised; it can be paired with the shop's homemade barley cookies. 3. The popular Napahai Waterway is just a 15-minute drive away, perfect for a day trip. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'm going to spend the entire day here with my laptop!
