Transportation｜🛳Depart from Shanghai, buy a bus and boat ticket at Nanpu Bridge Passenger Terminal. There is only one bus per day, leaving at 7:15 and arriving at Shengshan Wharf at noon.
⛴Starting from Zhoushan, there is a ferry from Zhujiajian Wharf to Shengshan Wharf, which arrives in about four hours.

Although the journey seems a bit tortuous, because Gouqi Island is one of the several eastern islands far away from the mainland, the scenery on the island will make you feel that everything is worth it. According to locals, the water on Gouqi Island is the clearest in the entire Shengsi Islands.

🏝Same sea view as Jeju Island
Due to the longitude and latitude close to Jeju Island and Okinawa Island, the climate and water quality here will make people feel the beauty and romance in Korean dramas, and the freshness and healing of Japanese dramas. The unique shape of the homestay is built on the cliff by the sea, which looks more like Santorini in Greece. If you are lucky, you can see the beautiful fire clouds like oil paintings in the room!

🌅Lying down to watch the sunrise on the sea
We stayed here for two nights and experienced both the second and third phase room types. There are more rooms in Phase II, with a higher location and better views. The sunset sea view king room we stayed in has a beautiful terrace and a bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling window. When you wake up, you can see the sea. From sunrise to sunset, you don&#39;t want to leave.

🌅Private cliff sunset
Of course, my favorite is the popular single-family sea view villa in Phase III. There are only four rooms in total, with large floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper and lower floors, and a private cliff infinity pool. Living here, it feels like the whole sky and the whole sea are all yours. Watching a beautiful sunset is worth taking a photo to collect for a lifetime!

🏷Tips 
🔸The homestay has its own restaurant, the dishes are exquisite, and the taste is better than the popular food stalls I have eaten before. It is said that it is also open to the public separately. I like fried crab with rice cakes very much, and breakfast is buffet.

🔸The first reason to choose to visit Gouqi Island in autumn is that the weather is very good, there are no typhoons or cold waves, you can basically see the sunrise and sunset every day, and you don&rsquo;t have to squeeze in with the crowds to grab boat tickets

🔸There are some attractions on the island, two or three days are enough, the uninhabited village is a must, and transportation basically requires a taxi.
