After visiting the two most beautiful covered bridges in Sixi Township, we had dinner at the nearby Old House Farmhouse. The dishes here are as simple as the local farmers. The table is small, but the plates are big, the dishes are large, and the dishes are served quickly. We didn't have time to eat them. Soon, the table was full. I didn't have any special feelings about the taste of the dishes, but my favorite was a dessert similar to sugar rice cake. The outer layer was wrapped in sugar, sweet, but the inside was a little salty and sticky. It was really delicious. I ate several pieces in a row.

The taste was average, only the grass carp was cooked particularly well, and everyone had some complaints about the other dishes.

It's not as good as I expected. The environment is nice, but the taste and service are just average. Several signature dishes are a bit salty. Maybe the chef was in a bad mood that day and used too much. I hope that will be different next time I come!
